It looks like they are waiting for someone specific and have already claimed one of these African people. As you and your family get off the boat these white people come straight towards your brother. Your family vaguely sees them coming being that their eyes are adjusting to the first sunlight they have seen in two months. They come and snatch your brother as like they have bought or own this boy.
