You step through the doorway. Bright white light surrounds you, blinding you. You close your eyes but even through your eyelids the brightness is excruciating. Your entire body tingles with a strange sensation.

Suddenly the light starts changing in color. It turns yellow, then orange, then red, then finally a deep dark red that fades away into blackness and you are floating in the dark.

Time passes but it is impossible to tell how long.

Suddenly, without any warning you find yourself standing in the middle of a forest. This catches you so completely by surprise that you collapse into a heap.

After a moment you compose yourself and stand up again, and take a look around.

You are standing in a huge fertile rain-forest. Enormous trees are all around you, and the ground underfoot is heavily covered with dead leaves and sticks. The air is thick with the smells of the forest, and feels very warm and humid. The sounds of the forest animals all around you fills your ears.

You turn around and notice something very peculiar. Standing right behind you in the forest is a door which looks exactly like your bedroom door. The door appears to be closed.
