These are the Protected Page Guidelines:
General page protection
- A page can be protected if it is under the Comp Resource namespace.
For vandalism
- A page can be semi-protected when a large amount of IP vandalism occurs.
- A similar rule exists for registered users.
For spamming
- A page can be protected if a large amount of spamming can occur.
