New page

This CharasVerse entry describes Warxe PhoenixBlade, known canonically as Warxe-E. For reference purposes, he will be simply referred to Warxe.

Background
Creation
Due to the nature of the CharasVerse, there exists an infinite number of Warxes, due to a version of Shoruth existing in all realities. However, Warxe is not from any of these realities - he is instead a terazgr, an immortal being created from several hundred souls.
After the events of Future 1's Ryala's Right, a being named Iseoan PhoenixBlade, an entity who had taken on Warxe's persona, was cast into the dimensional void between realities. Quickly realizing how to escape its prison, it found that, without a mortal body, its physical power was heavily limited - it could not even manifest itself in a body. However, it could easily move between realities in this state, so it thought up a way to get revenge on Warxe - it would absorb every single Warxe in the CharasVerse, and become the "true" Warxe. It was able to accomplish this, to a point - several Warxes from different realities teamed up, and were able to stop Iseoan PB. But on its death, it released a massive amount of energy - this energy coalesced and formed the infant Warxe-E. Deciding that this being would not belong in any of their realities, the Warxes sent him into another reality where he would be accepted - the Charas Reality.

Early Years
Warxe-E was found by an old man named Odin T. Almighty. Odin, having lost his wife and children long ago, raised the child as his own, even though he did not know of his origins. However, Odin was also something of a pedophile, and he raised Warxe as a girl for the first 14 years of his life; however, he was never sexually abused (or so he says).
Odin, who had become increasingly depressed, committed suicide - before this, he told Warxe of his unknown heritage, and also confirmed that he was a male. Warxe, confused by all of this, wandered from town to town for about a year afterwards, until he found the Kingdom of Charas.

Adolescence
In the town of Program, Warxe found the Makers, a family who accepted him as one of their own. (Unbeknownst to him, Warxe-S had visited the family beforehand, and told them of the boy's heritage and former life.) In this more loving environment, Warxe was able to come to terms with his identity - it was also during this time that his powers began to manifest. In addition, he took a part-time job as a mechanic, as his skill with creation was remarkable for such a young man. At about 17, he founded his own repair business (called Maker Repair), which got him some fame not just around Program, but from other cities in the Kingdom.

Adulthood
On his 18th birthday, the Makers revealed Warxe's heritage to him. Surprisingly, he was not totally shocked by it - he knew that he was different from the people of Program, or even from Odin. But he was still sad to hear it, so he thanked the Makers for raising him (even though Odin did most of the raising), and departed to the Castle Charas.
There, he was already known for his almost superhuman ability to create and repair machines. He quickly built up his political rank, and though he lacked the influence of the Moderators, he was still respected. He even had his own rival, in the form of Zero (a penniless bum who had stolen his wallet for beer money). But although he wanted to stay with Charas, he was more concerned on finding his way home - he had some control of his reality manipulation, and figured that he would need an amplifier of some sort to travel through reality. Thus, when reports of an artifact called the "Big Emerald" were published, Warxe immediately set out to capture it. But, almost unfortunately, he recruited a team of adventurers, collectively called the Table of One Wing, who was to help him - but the crew quickly turned mutinous, and began seeking the Emerald for their own purposes (though they would stay with Warxe). When the Rendersa manifested, Warxe found himself in the possession of one - the Onyx Rendersa, which could heal other beings. He still continued searching for the Emerald, as the Rendersa was not powerful enough to break through reality.
Once the Emerald Hunt was over, and the destructive Omega sealed, Warxe visited the Charas Pub, where he would become a fixture. In addition, he was given the status of Moderator by The Great SaiKar, who had recently become Administrator of Charas. Warxe was given domain over the towns of Program and Tutor, areas he was familiar with.

To Home and Back
Warxe resigned this position shortly after, as he had come into possession of the Big Emerald. He finally used its power to traverse through realities, eventually landing on eDriTh, a planet in the Iseo System. Concealing the Emerald, he joined up with the revolutionary group called Shadow's Light, and was instrumental in helping the group defeat the fallen god Gzir. From there, he used the Emerald to travel to Shoruth, his home world - but once there, he learned of his true nature. Warxe-S informed him of the Crossover event, and told him that he didn't have a home in this reality; his home was Charas. Depressed by this, Warxe returned to the Charas Reality, where he was given his Moderator status back. From there, he was a major player in the Dark Ages, helping to protect against Raffles, as well as the Kingdom of Troll's invasion.

Massacre
After the Dark Ages ended, Warxe entered a state of depression. Though he had everything he ever wanted in life, he had no true home - Charas was as close as it came, but even then, it was not the real thing. He decided that he would exile himself somewhere else, but instead of going quietly, he would take a piece of Charas with him. Using his now-formidable power, Warxe completely destroyed Forgam City. He attempted suicide, but was captured by the authorities and imprisoned. He was found guilty of mass murder, which was punishable by death - but SaiKar was more lenient, simply taking away his status and wealth, and casting him to the streets of Castle Charas. Afterwards, the God was able to restore a part of Forgam City.
Warxe, knowing that this was exactly how he wanted to go, took the Emerald and departed for other lands - however, he still occasionally visits Charas, and has even successfully recovered some of his status.

Character Information
Physical
*Height: About 5'8
*Weight: 216 lbs
*Hair: Light blue, with four major spikes on the sides
*Eyes: Right eye is blue with metallic implants above it; left eye is a giant blue 'bionic eye' that covers most of the left side of his face.
*Generally wears a light gray shirt, dark gray sweatpants, an orange-trimmed blue coat and brown boots.

Personality
Warxe is generally very calm and collected, but can fly into a rage at a moment's notice. He is prone to bouts of depression, and especially in the last while, he has been rather nihilistic - but he always tries to do what he believes is right.

Talents and Abilities
Warxe's primary ability is that of reality manipulation - using the residual Iseo in the environment, he can arrange matter and energy to his liking. This ability has grown in power over the years, and although he generally does it on a small scale, he is theoretically capable of cosmic-level acts. His natural power is augmented by several other sources, such as his Onyx Rendersa, a weapon called the Charaform, and, on occasion, the Big Emerald.
Other than his reality manipulation, he shares the talents of all other Warxes - he is skilled with mechanics, is knowledgeable about several subjects, and has an innate desire to learn.
Due to his nature as a terazgr, he has an infinite lifespan. Also, due to Charas Reality laws, he is capable of ceaselessly resurrecting himself while present in the reality, making him effectively immortal.

Equipment
Warxe's primary weapon is the Roto-Shield, a weapon of his own design. A circular shield with spikes around the rim, it can be used for both offense and defense. As suggested by the name, it can rotate at high speeds to inflict even more damage, and it can also project an elemental force-field to defend himself from magic.
He also carries the Charaform, a staff that is tuned into the political climate of the Charas Kingdom. When the kingdom is at peace, the staff shines brightly - but when warring or torn by scandal, its power fades. Thus, it is a weapon that is most powerful when it doesn't need to be used.

As a Cameo
Despite having extremely powerful reality manipulation, Warxe rarely uses it to a large extent. Instead, he mimics the powers of the other Warxes, namely Ice-elemental magic and Summoning. He is able to travel between realities at will, and is interested in the civilizations of other people; but he always tries to stay in the shadows, influencing the world very little. In some cases, he will reveal himself, and attempt to save the world from an impending threat.
