SPW New Era
Priyandh made an impact on the May 20 2009 resseruction of SPW. Being an SPW veteran, Priyandh entered the KO World Championship open challenge and easily defeated a weary Sanjith for the championship. This marked Priyandh's 2nd reign as KO World Champion and the first KO World Champion in the new era of SPW. Priyandh would later be forced to vacate the championship due to an injury caused by an assault, presumably at the hands of Sanjith.
Priyandh would later team up with Yathees and Nilakshan, collectively forming the group, The Empire. At the October PPV Merciless, The Empire was about to present a special message. It turned out instead to be a beat down on co-member, Nilakshan. This caused Nilakshan, the KO World Champion at the time, to vacate the title and Priyandh to win it in a No DQ match against Sanarjan.
Priyandh later on became the Unified Tag Team Champion with Yathees, furthering his dominance on the SPW chain. At the 2010 Royal Rampage, Priyandh faced of against the Heavyweight Champion, Sanarjan, in a unification title match. Priyandh defeated Sanarjan using many dirty tactics to become the new Heavyweight Champion and the final KO World Champion.
