'''Red Star Wrestling''' ('''RSW''') is an UK [[backyard wrestling]] federation which opened in October 2009 by [[Lewis Blue]] and [[Chris Clash]]. It is considered to be a lonesome trampoline federation in the United Kingdom. Its events are video packaged and available online for viewership.

==History==
Red Star Wrestling is a north eastern UK federation which started its operations on October 21, 2009, co-owned by [[Lewis Blue]] and [[Chris Clash]], who underwent a lengthy decision time to open it after trampoline federations TXW and NEEW went under. RSW is noted to arguably be an only trampoline backyard federation left in the UK. The federation initially worked with 4 roster members. On its debut show, GMD defeated Unknown to become the inaugural RSW Light Heavyweight Champion and Clash defeated Blue in the main event.

More wrestlers began joining the roster sooner in MK Rated, A Blaze, Andy Gold, Adam Atom, Justice, Mr. Loco and The Lost Ninja. At RSW's first and only free-per-view of 2009, RSW Hell or High Water event, its first RSW Heavyweight Champion, Blue, was crowned in an Oven Tray match. The federation's first storyline faction developed between Blue, Gold and Clash known as The Brotherhood, after attacking MK Rated who was the contender for the Heavyweight Title, that forged collectively in order to "rule out scum" in RSW and become the best.

On the April 21, 2010 edition of ''[[Backyard Wrestling Weekly]]'', RSW was inducted into the [[Global Backyard Wrestling Nation]].

However this was a bad time for the federation as most of the wrestlers were at school and close to finishing their final exams. This meant that only two videos were posted which included a music video of all the wrestlers and a PPV intitled 'TXW Engage'. Due to the circumstances, TXW was stopped. In 2008, the federation was revived and given a new name: '''North East Extreme Wrestling''' (NEEW). Unfortunately, the show did not post any videos and had to be cancelled because nobody was interested in joining.

He is the co-founder and wrestler for the UK backyard wrestling federation [[Red Star Wrestling]] (RSW). Clash was involved in the federation's debut show on the offical RSW Youtube channel where he defeated [[Lewis Blue]] in the main event.

So far, Chris has created a lot of tension between himself and the other superstars of the RSW brand and has claimed he is one of the 'best' backyard wrestlers in the United Kingdom. Him alongside fellow RSW wrestler '''Andy Gold''' (A.G) were crowned the first ever RSW Duo Champions (Tag Team). At this point, Chris Clash has being involved in the faction 'The Brotherhood' along with [[Lewis Blue]] and '''Andy Gold'''.

== Introduction To Backyard Wrestling ==

Chris Clash from a young age loved watching wrestling and always wanted to copy moves he had seen on TV. After meeting [[Lewis Blue]] in school, they both decided to gather up a bunch of people so that they both could perform the moves of their wrestling idols. At first Clash and Blue wrestled at school but were amazed at videos of other backyard wrestling federations they had seen on Youtube. This made the two want to have their own federation and to show the backyard community what they could do.

== The Rise and Fall of TXW and NEEW ==

In 2007, both Clash and Blue started up '''Total Xtreme Wrestling''' (TXW) along with a few friends such as '''Andy Gold''' and the tag team of '''Jex''' and '''Pex'''. However this was a bad time for the federation as most of the wrestlers were at school and close to finishing their final exams. This meant that only two videos were posted which included a music video of all the wrestlers and a PPV intitled 'TXW Engage'. In 2008, the federation was given a new name called '''North East Extreme Wrestling''' (NEEW). Unfortuneatly, the show did not post any videos and had to be cancelled because nobody was interested in joining.

== Red Star Wrestling ==

In October 2009, Chris Clash and [[Lewis Blue]] both decided to try one more time to have a succesful backyard wrestling federation. The name given was [[Red Star Wrestling]] and like both '''TXW''' and '''NEEW''', was kept as a trampoline based federation. As co-founders/owners of RSW, Clash and Blue launched both the [[Red Star Wrestling]] Youtube channel and webpage which laid the foundation for the shows to come. Lewis is a great graphics designer and has a keen interest in video editing. Lewis makes everything used for RSW by himself from scratch without help, Lewis has been self taught in both graphic design(4 years experience)and video editing.

Lewis and Chris are best friends outside of RSW and used to go to school with each other.

'''Lewis Blue''' is a British backyard wrestler, co-founder and wrestler of RSW (Red Star Wrestling). Lewis is well known for his high-flying ability and technical style of wrestling. He is considered the "main man" to speak abour anything regarding RSW. He became RSW's first ever World Champion crowned at RSW's first PPV 'Hell or High Water'. Lewis has shown huge progress since starting back in 2007 to this present day.

== Lewis Blue's Exposure To BYW And The Start Of TXW ==
Lewis Blue first started seen backyard wrestling on the wrestler figs proboards when he had watched two music videos on Lee Andrews and Shawn Phoenix(AkA Focalin). Lewis then knew that he would take up backyard wrestling from then on. In 2007, he had decided to create his own backyard wrestling federation along with fellow wrestlers Andy Gold(A.G) and '''Chris Clash'''. Blue, Clash and Gold created TXW(Total Xtreme Wrestling) TXW only started with a few music videos and one PPV: TXW Engage. TXW began to slowly fade as most of the roster had GCSE exams which caused many of them to quit and focus on school work. Shortly after TXW closed.

== NEEW ==
In Mid 2008, Lewis decided to rally the old TXW troops and see if he could get a new federation up and running, as he asked wrestlers such as '''Chris Clash''' and A.G and they were more than happy to start up a new federation which was named NEEW(North East Extreme Wrestling). This idea soon folded due to wrestling location as well as superstars not being able to attend.

== 3CW(3 Count Wrestling)Pro ==
During the time, Lewis had free fellow TXW members Jex(Jonny) and Pex(Lewis Saul) had invited him to come try out professional training with the 3CW Acadamy, in which Lewis agreed to and underwent a year of professional training meeting the likes of Doug Basham and Matt Sydal(Evan Bourne). After about a year or so, 3CW moved out of Lewis' reach therfore Lewis had no choice but to quit.

== RSW (2009-present) ==
In October of 2009, Lewis and ex TXW and NEEW wrestler '''Chris Clash''' were determined to achieve their goal of starting a successful backyard wrestling federation: this day was the birth of Red Star Wrestling! RSW is possibly the only trampoline backyard federation left in the UK. The federation initially worked with 4 roster members; '''Lewis Blue''', '''Chris Clash''', Unknown and GMD. In RSW's debut show, GMD defeated Unknown to become the first RSW Light Heavyweight Champion and '''Chris Clash''' defeated '''Lewis Blue''' in the main event. Upon hearing of the news of the reborn North East federation, wrestlers old and new were more than happy to join up.
