HWO (Hardcore Wrestling Organization) is an independent backyard wrestling federation based in Shreveport, LA, founded in 2004 by Steven Hardy, Stone Hardy & The Joker. Steven Hardy one of the owner's is focus on technical, puroresu, lucha libre and high-risk extreme spots more so then hardcore wrestling.
Origin
In 2004, Steven Hardy, Stone Hardy & The Joker started up HWO, after they had been out of backyard wrestling for a few years. Steven Hardy faced Stone Hardy for the HWO World Heavyweight Championship in a Full metal match, Steven Hardy won the match and the world title.
After Steven Hardy lost the title to Stone Hardy he won it back the same night, He later won the HWO Championship, when he faced for against The Joker.
