The featured backyard wrestler of the month of June is PJ Matthews. As one of the renowned Icons selected by Bywpedia, Matthews is regarded for his top notch attire, and simple moves, which are nonetheless effective and befitting to his style. Last month he stole the show with Drake Cannon in a special NECW: Pro Access Wrestling exhibition and recently circled around making travels to perform impromptu matches with the likes of Ian Finnegan and Marcus Centofante. Ultimate British Wrestling has been chosen as the BYWpedia Federation of the Month of March 2009. The critical viewership (9,000 +) and organizational success of UBW Salvation (2009) has amounted the entitlement of reward. The event was in conjunction with Battle Born Wrestling and Radical Wrestling League, featuring their wrestlers Valo and Craig Steele as well as four matches which revealed U.K backyard wrestling in a good showcase.
