The GBYWN Australian Heavyweight Championship is a top tier title in the Australian Wrestling Grand Prix (AWGP). Commonly referred to as just the GBYWN by announcers, the title is the only GBYN Championship recognised in Australia. The championship is mainly for those on the AWGP Roster who have not recieved Pro Training, however that is not a sticking rule.
The physical championship belt was homemade by Atticus Floyd, originally used as the nWd Tag Team Championship and was to be the Pro Federation, ACWA's version of the Smashmouth Championship. The physical belt returned to active service when AWGP re-activated.
The Inaugral Champion was Zac Shaw, one of Queensland Backyard Wrestling's longest serving roster members. He defeated Crimson Genocide.
