Ultimate British Wrestling is a backyard wrestling internet based federation founded in 2008 and located in the United Kingdom.
HGEW has appeared made several attempts in the past few months to make it on to the internet, but all attempts had failed. HGEW has been running as a local backyard promotion, who in July 2010, have finally managed to get a host to stream their shows after 2 years of being active.

History
2008 - 2009
From 2008 until 2010, HGEW ran as a local promotion performing infront of the local children simply for fun. Some HGEW footage would be uploaded by people who attended the shows, but not officially by HGEW itself. In 2009, HGEW decided to create it's own website and begin to stream their shows on there. This did not work as the website had a bandwidth unit which HGEW could not comply to, so HGEW left the provider. HGEW attempted uploading to Youtube, but were unhappy with the 10 minute upload limit, so they abandoned Youtube and went back to being a local promotion.
The Rise of HGEW (2010)
After 2 years, HGEW has finally decided to hit the internet full-time. HGEW opened its own Dailymotion account as their management found the upload limit much more managable, aswell as the copyright rule being far more lenient. HGEW will begin by uploading monthly shows, before eventually opening a fortnightly Monday Night RAW-esque show. HGEW looks to headline their first show with talent such as Euan McCarling and Ryan Shadows.
