History
Kids Championship Wrestling
In 2006, Kids Championship Wrestling was what was running its course. The federation was originally around since 2003, but became more serious at this time. It was based in the location of Anderson, Indiana opened by Streetfighter, now known better as Chris Castle. The federation made use of a trampoline, and often a few fireworks to accomplish an event settings, created a weekly show called KCW Xplosion to lead up to free per views and together the entire group of friends wrestled attracting a following online.
Indiana Championship Wrestling
In May 2008, the "new era" of KCW was established with the switch to adopting the name Indiana Championship Wrestling. Also, ICW members would continue to perform regularly on a trampoline until June 2009 debuting a base at ICW Vortex that year. It was around the same year the federation got engaged with other promotions on the west and east coast for backyard wrestling supershows and notably ones ICW held known as ICW This is Our House and ICW Midwest Extravaganza as well as supershows outside the federation such as BWA Global Domination and X2X Wrestlegasm while having essentially aligned with GBYWN.
In addition, ICW (even while known as KCW) featured full taped and edited wrestling events that varyingly takes place on previously trampoline and mostly mat base depending on circumstances and is presented on the internet catering to a cult following of subscribers becoming one, and if not, the biggest autonomous backyard league in the state of Indiana.
The end of ICW
ICW reached a halt after roster member, Bonecrusher, decided to physically remove the wrestling base surface out of his backyard leaving the organization short of an area to wrestle. At CCW Welcome to the Real World, Devin Bliss and Chris Castle made the ultimate option to close ICW both competing one on one for the ICW World Championship which Castle won.
