	Previously Taylor Media had discussed beforehand about creating a online community website as competition to Crunchyroll.[1] It was announced at the 2009 Anime Expo in the Exhibit Hall that Taylor Media was to create the channel The Dojo Network under domain name www.shodojo.com.[2] The website might have been delayed due to security issues with Funimation's former video portal.
