A rollicking frontier town that is prone to bar fights, drinking, satisfaction, and drinking.

It's also the home of the Whiskey Slide, a saloon belonging to one Jim Bones. It is here that Captain McCannon and Adelaide Braun first met, when the Captain accidentally set the bar on fire and started the worst fight in the last ten years this side of Ireland.

In The New World San Francisco is the second US city visited by the characters as they investigate a suspicious earthquake. It is considerably more built-up than in previous RP's due to it being set at a later time (1901). It is an important business hub in the RP's USA and is one of the better defended western cities.
