Aibara

A planet in the Tryn System, closest to the sun Aten. Because of its location, the environment of the planet is mostly desert, with low-lying shrubs, and scattered with oases. Most water must be brought up from the ground, but there are lakes, some quite large, throughout the planet. All animals found on the planet are lean, with long legs and ears and store water within their bodies. Plants too retain water, and the sweet Kioi plant serves as a staple food for the people of Aibara.

Aibaras dress in light, brightly coloured clothes, usually in shades of blue and green. Airy footwear like slippers are worn mostly, but for long journeys, boots are preferable. In the case of males, hair is brown and skin is a darkish tan while the eyes are dark or non-coloured, with no distinction between pupil and iris. In the case of females, hair is black but skin is a light pastel-blue; eyes are bright blues or greens.

Gold jewelry is the Aibara fashion; extensive gold mines run around the entire planet and provide the means for such production. The jewelry is worn on the arms in bands of varying types, and in the hair as headbands or pins.
