the giants rose from amoung the people of alnand and became much fiercer, larger and stronger. A group of giants linked themselves to the power of troll to gain greater magic and became the trolls. At the hight of their power the trolls rivaled the gods, however when Cusath took ofer the universe he stripped them of the power and threw them into the light land. In the dark age, they managed to escape and split into two lineages, the generic trolls and the stone trolls. During the flowering, the fire and ice trolls, their ancestors, returned.
