Abnormalia policy

Admin:

== If you do not agree with this policy ==

Use the discussion tab to suggest changes, removal of policies or the adding of new ones. Chances are you've got a point and the policy will be changed.<br>
The discussion tab is also the place to go with questions regarding these policies. For general editing help, visit the Help section in the navigation bar.
<p>If you want an example of how a page looks when it is made according to the rules stated below, have a look at the [[Template Page]]

== Page Creation Policy ==

*'''To create a new page''', simply add the desired name at the end of the wiki URL. For example, if you want to create a page called The Lindist Religion, type the following line into your address bar: <nowiki>http://editthis.info/abnormalia/The_Lindist_Religion</nowiki>. Use underscores to seperate words. Be aware that this will be the actual title of the page you create and it is case sensitive. Underscores will appear as spaces on the page itself.

*'''Include the subsection''' you are creating a pge for in the name of the page. Using the above example, the ONLY correct URL for the page would be <nowiki>http://editthis.info/abnormalia/Culture/The_Lindist_Religion</nowiki> If you are absolutely certain your article doesn't fit any of the existing subsections, you are allowed to create one as long as you provide us with the correct links on the relevant pages.

*'''Be as specific as you can'''. If you want to add an article about a race of elves you've created, do not name the page 'elves' but rather use the name of the race. Chances are you're not the only one who came up with a new elven race.

*Before writing the main body of your article, '''clearly mention if your article is science fiction/fantasy/other in nature, contains adult or otherwise potentially offense material and if other users are allowed to use the content of that page to create their own articles.''' A short mention of this at the top of the article will suffice, although you may specify if you wish. If you do not follow this rule, we will assume you approve of others using your content and will mark the page as such. If you specify that you do not want others to use your page, you are expected to fill in the red links yourself as soon as possible.

*'''The subsections''' are there for a reason. If you have created a forest, the article about that forest would go in the Geography section. If there is a tribe of people living in that forest, make a seperate article in the Races section and link to it. If these people follow a certain religion, the details of it would be written down in an article in the Culture section and, again, be linked to. You get the idea.

*After creating a new article, be sure to '''create a link''' in the relevant section.

*If you wish to create a page based on the work of another author (for example, someone has created a biography for a starship captain and you want to write an article about his or her ship) remember that '''the original author has every right to edit your article''' or even remove it according to his or her vision.

*Before adding a new page it's a good idea to '''have a more or less complete version of your article ready'''. Create your article in any text editor, run it through a spell checker, then copy and paste it into the edit field. This helps keep Abnormalia clean.

== Content Policy ==

*When an author has specified that you cannot use the material on a page, respect that. The 'MAY NOT use this article' banner means that '''you cannot write anything to do with the content of that specific page'''. You cannot create biographies for the characters mentioned, nor for the races or places, nor fill in the red links. In short, if it's on there, you cannot use it in any way, shape or form. You can edit it however. See Editing Policy below for deatails. If the author has specified that certain actions are okay (such as no filling in red links, but okay to write biographies) you are free to do so.

*Untill further notice, articles submitted to Abnormalia ''must'' be '''speculative fiction'''. In the context of Abnormalia, this includes science fiction, fantasy, horror fiction, supernatural fiction, and magic realism.

*You are '''not allowed''' to submit any articles that reference existing persons, places, history (actual or alternate), events or mythology, nor obvious parodies of these. Be creative. It's what this wiki is for.

*This is an '''English wiki'''. All articles and discussions must be written in English. The ONLY exception is when you have created a language or are using a language created by another author. If this is the case, provide translations.

*'''Do not submit copyrighted work without permission.''' I cannot stress this enough. No idea exists in a vacuum and all artists have their sources of inspiration, however blatant plagiarism can and will get you permanently banned if discovered. When referencing the work of another author, be sure to do this in the form of a citation.

*'''You are allowed to use adult material''' in your articles if, and only if, it is relevant to the subject of the article and fits the theme of Abnormalia. Adult content is here defined as text/images that are sexual or erotic in nature, contain violence/gore and can be concidered shocking in any form. We do ask you to use your common sense and, more importantly, good taste. For example, if you wich to describe the process of childbirth for a particular race of people, it is expected that this article and associated images will contain references to sexuality. There is however no need to post a picture of a vagina. This will be concidered vandalism and may very well get you permanently banned. The exception is profanity. Outside of fiction, there is no need whatsoever to use profanity in your articles (unless you created a page about various curse words of a particular people. In that case, use your common sense)

*Be conciderate, think twice. When adressing hot topics such as paedophelia, racism, substance abuse or any other illegal subject, '''ask yourself if this is necessary''' for your article.

*Articles must be submitted in the form of a '''quasi-scientific article'''. This means facts, even if they are made up. For flowery prose we have the Fiction section.

*When submitting follow-up articles (for example, a biography of a hero you mentioned in a previous article) always '''assume your readers are not familiar with your previous articles'''. Imagine that this is the first Abnormalia article your readers see. Be as clear and factual as you can and use links.

*'''Link, link, link'''. This is a wiki after all. There can never be too many relevant links, internal as well as external.

== Editing Policy ==

*You are '''ALWAYS''' allowed to edit articles to correct grammar/spelling/assorted editorial disasters and/or tidy the layout of the page. You are even very much encouraged to do so.

*Authors are asked to specify whether the allow or forbid the use of their original content. '''YOU CANNOT CHANGE THIS.''' Doing so will result in permanent banning.

*When editing the actual content of an article, be prepared to '''provide a clear, thourough explanation''' of why you chose to do this (inconsistency, scientific impossibilities, etc.) and remember that the author ALWAYS has the final word. It's their fantasy after all.

*'''You are free to edit key pages''' like the Main Page and Current Events. So far, the only protected page on Abnormalia is this one, the rest can be edited at your discretion. However we do ask you think this through.

*As an author, '''you have every right to forbid editing of your articles.''' If this is your wish, contact an admin to discuss the possibility of protecting your article, banning all users (including yourself!) from editing. But remember that Abnormalia is a wiki and the possibility to edit pages is a key feature. In other words, if you want your page protected, you're going to have to make a pretty good case. If you change your mind and want your page unprotected, contact an admin. If enough users request the unprotection of your aticle, an admin will discuss this with you.

== General Rule ==

'''THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.''' They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.

After the invention of hyper-dimensional travell, [[The Dinad]] started to expand their territories twards the outer reaches of our galaxy. Apon reaching the Outer Systems they discovered many other species of intelligent creature, each one unique in its own way. With the help of advanced technology we managed to comunicate with them and start trade routes. There have been some minor disputes with the less inteligent creatures, but after resolving all the conflicts there still were some tensions, there was a need of a guverment.

Called by the Dinad, a representant of every ihabbited solar system gathered at a central planet, to disscuss a future alliance and a single guvermental system. 6000 representatives answered the call. A new order was formed.
== Lindism ==

The Lindist religion, or Lindism, is practiced all throughout the world of [[Vanaheim]]. Lindism today includes three factions: pure Lindism, the oriental Amaterasu faction and the widespread Terramagi faction. Approximately 70% of the population of [[Vanaheim]] is pure Lindist (about 42% of which practicing), 9% is Terramagi and 7% (slightly more than half of the eastern peoples) is Amaterasu. The remaining 14% are members of diverse cults who worship demigods/lesser entities, nature worshippers or atheists.

== Pure Lindism ==

Usually refered to simply as Lindism. This religion places the god [[Lindis]] at the top of the pantheon as master of all that is. He is not honored as a creator, nor as the first force in the universe, but is concidered the current leader of both the mundane and the spirit world. He is the god that rules the gods and the keeper of the sacred cosmic balance and is often depicted with scales.
There are over 200 lesser gods with varying importance. These gods are not classified in a family hierearchy but rather divided in couples. The core tenet of the Lindist faith is the principle of duality. It is assumed that all that exists needs an opposite to hold a place in the mundane world. As such, the water god Mir is coupled to the fire goddess Sinrah. Temples are always dedicated to couples, never to a single god.

It is accepted that each of these gods can manifest themselves as a variety of human, animal and/or etherical beings. This belief is the basis of the main sacred text in Lindism, the Inrinal Lindis Nezah (500 Incarnations of Lindis), usually called the Inrinal (Incarnations) for short. Of the five sacred texts in Lindism, the Inrinal is the most important one because it was supposedly written by the god himself during his 500th and final incarnation. It is a massive work of 100 volumes, each of these volumes containing five stories about a particular incarnation of the god. Each of these stories contains clear moral guidelines detailing how to live a virtuous life with lesson on how to treat those around you, the world and the gods. The original copies of these books are kept in the one temple dedicated to Lindis.

The second most important text is the Navarine, believed to be written around the same time as the Inrinal and detailing the origin of two elven races, the [[Dunmer]] (Black Elves) and the [[Altmer]] (White Elves). There are two versions of this text: [[Navarine Altmer]] (White Navarine) and the [[Navarine Dunmer]] (Black Navarine), each containing five chapters.
The first two chapters are the same for both versions. The first tells the tale of the creation of the world, the second tells the legend of the [[Light Elves]] and how they gave birth to the three elven races that populate Vanaheim today. (These are the [[Altmer]], [[Dunmer]] and [[Sylmer]])
This is where both versions differ. Chapters three, four and five tell the stories of the legendary clan mothers of the races. The Navarine Dunmer tells the tale of Gundulla, the black mother, the Navarine Dunmer focusses on Nesilla, the white mother.
Lindists believe these tales to be factual.

The three remaining texts are of lesser importance, since they were written much later, not by gods or higher entities but a visionary, a woman named Gita. These three texts contan the history , the future and the end of the world of Vanaheim as seen by Gita in her visions. She named the third book Amastica, which is now the common name for the endtimes. Especially the second book dealing with the future of Vanaheim is still actively studied.

== Amaterasu ==

Amaterasu can be concidered the oriental version of Lindism, although it does not recognise the existence of gods as entities of flesh and blood and does not believe in the tale of creation as it is told in the Inrinal and Navarine, nor do they believe that these texts were written by gods/higher entities. They do honor the core belief of Lindism: that all that exists must answer to the law of cosmic balance. Those who practice Amaterasu are called Amatera in the eastern world and Amatarians outside the eastern provinces.

Amatera do not build temples and have no standarised prayers, since their version of the religion is much more cerebral than the 'pure' version and focusses mainly on the rational side of the religious experience. The religion was started by a young woman named Amaterasu Yoriko who dedicated het life to study the three books of Gita and wrote down her conclusions. The only religious orders in Amaterasu are groups of scholars and monks dedicated to coninuing the work of Yoriko. They gain access to her writings only after their initiation.

Above all, Amatera believe religion should take places in the minds of its followers, not in temples and through relics, and that the road of knowledge is the ultimate way to salvation.

== Terramagi ==

Is very much like Lindism, the only difference being that it denies the existance of Lindis and most of the lesser gods and instead focusses on five gods: Mir (god of water), Sinrah (goddess of fire), Magiluna (goddess of magic), Kernos (god of earth) and Altaea (godess of air/light). This emphasis on the elements, where magic is concidered to be the fifth natural element makes Terramagi very much a nature-based religion. Their many rituals and celebrations take place in woods, near lakes and waterfalls or other places concidered holy.

Terramagi was the religion of the nomidic peoples of the western and southern provinces and quickly spread, later to be adopted by gypsies and traveling artists. The growth of Terramagi has come to a halt however, because many regard its practicioners with suspicion. Terramagi are often described as witches and masters of the occult.

== Hierarchy in the Clergy ==

Terramagi are very much their own clergy and when Amaterasu is concerned, only those who have access to the works of Yoriko can be concidered clergy. Pure Lindism however has a very strict hierarchical structure for their clergy. In theory, anyone can rise through the ranks. In practise, this often involves money, power and connections, although both males and females of all races are welcome to join the clergy.
The hierarchy in Lindism, from lowest te highest, is as follows:

*Monks/pilgrims: Monks are those that gather in religious orders who are often responsible for actually carrying out what they concider to be the will of th gods. Their convent usually function as hopitals, schools, poor houses and libraries. Pilgrims are essentially monks who aren't a member of any particular order and choose to travel to spread the good word and generally do good.

*Priests/priestesses: they are responsible for the upkeep of the temples and are the heads of orders. Every temple has a priest and a priestess to symbolise cosmic balance and duality. Priests who lead on order of monks as well as caring for a temple and leading services are called First Priests.

*Shire Priests: priests that are responsible for the religious life in a shire. They are not usually affiliated with any temple or order and are expected to divide their time equally between all religious groups in the shire. He or she funtions as a problem-solver when there are disputes and as a link between the 'lower' clergy and the 'higher', often mediating between them.

*High Priest/Priestess: a position that can only be held by one man or woman who has a seat in the [[Council of Vanaheim]] and controlls the religious life in all of Vanaheim.

Five times a year the Council of Lindis is assembled. This council consists of the High Priest(ess) and the Shire priests. Lower ranking clergy can request to join these meetings, but only the High Priest(ess) and the Shire Priests can call for an unscheduled meeting of the council.

== Pure Lindism ==

== Amaterasu ==

== Terramagi ==

*High Priest/Priestess: a position that can only be held by one man or woman who has a seat in the [[Counsel of Vanaheim]] and controlls the religious life in all of Vanaheim.

Five times a year the Counsel
Is very much like Lindism, the only difference being that it denies the existance of Lindis and most of the lesser gods and instead focusses on five gods: Mir (god of water), Sinrah (goddess of fire), Magiluna (goddess of magic), Kernos (god of earth) and Altaea (godess of air/light). This emphasis on the elements, where magic is concidered to be the fifth natural element makes Terramagi very much a nature-based religion.

== Lindism ==

== Pure Lindism ==

The second most important text is the Navarine, believed to be written around the same time as the Inrinal and detailing the origin of two elven races, the [[Dunmer]](Black Elves) and the [[Altmer]](White Elves).

== Amaterasu ==

== Terramagi ==

== Page Creation Policy ==

== Content Policy ==

*When an author has specified that you cannot use the material on a page, respect that. The 'CANNOT use this content' banner means that '''you cannot write anything to do with the content of that specific page'''.

== Editing Policy ==

== General Rule ==

'''THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.''' They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.

== Lindism ==

== Pure Lindism ==

The second most important text is the Navarine, believed to be written around the same time as the Inrinal and detailing the origin of two elven races, the [[Dunmer]](Black Elves) and the [[Altmer]](White Elves).

== Pure Lindism ==

== Page Creation Policy ==

== Content Policy ==

*When an author has specified that you cannot use the material on a page, respect that. The 'CANNOT use this content' banner means that '''you cannot write anything to do with the content of that specific page'''.

== Editing Policy ==

== General Rule ==

'''THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.''' They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.

== Lindism ==

== Pure Lindism ==

The second and third most important texts are the Navarine Dunmer and the Navarine Altmer, believed to be written around the same time as the Inrinal.

== Page Creation Policy ==

*Before writing the main body of your article, '''clearly mention if your article is science fiction/fantasy/other in nature, contains adult or otherwise potentially offense material and if other users are allowed to use the content of that page to create their own articles.''' A short mention of this at the top of the article will suffice. If you do not follow this rule, we will assume you approve of others using your content and will mark the page as such.

== Content Policy ==

*When an author has specified that you cannot use the material on a page, respect that. The 'CANNOT use this content' banner means that '''you cannot write anything to do with the content of that specific page'''. You cannot create biographies for the characters mentioned, nor for the races or places, nor fill in the red links. In short, if it's on there, you cannot use it in any way, shape or form. You can edit it however. See Editing Policy below for deatails.

== Editing Policy ==

== General Rule ==

'''THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.''' They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.

== What is a Wiki? ==

"A wiki (IPA: [ˈwɪ.kiː] <WICK-ee> or [ˈwiː.kiː] <WEE-kee>[1]) is a type of website that allows the visitors themselves to easily add, remove and otherwise edit and change some available content, sometimes without the need for registration. This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for collaborative authoring." ''– from Wikipedia, 17th August 2006''

== What is Abnormalia? ==

Abnormalia is an independant wiki meant for those who have little bits of world inside their heads. Allow me to explain.

During the years I've spent interacting with people on the internet and especially on forums, I've met a lot of imaginative, creative people with vivid imaginations. I've met a high school student from Prague who invented a race of people and wrote their whole history, biographies of important members of that race and hundreds of pages about their culture and religion. I remember meeting a girl, I believe she was from Norway, who had a gift for drawing maps. She created all kinds of towns, provinces, continents, you name it, and drew the most beautiful maps I've ever seen. I've met people who created entire languages from scratch, religions so rich in mythology and deep in phylosophy it would put many of the world religions to shame.

And it got me thinking. Wouldn't it be great if someone were to take all those little tidbits of information, collect them somehow to make the ultimate imagination resource? Wouldn't it be fun to have a place to actually work with those little ideas and see wht other people come up with?

That's Abnormalia. If you have invented a new game, or a fantasy race, or a even a whole religion, this is the place to share it. Abnormalia is meant to be "an effective tool for collaborative authoring". I hope you enjoy it.

Admin:

This is an example page meant to show how a page looks when the rules stated in [[Abnormalia policy]] are correctly applied. You can also use this as a base to create your own pages from.

----
----

*Fantasy
*DOES NOT contain adult material
*You ARE allowed to use this content

== Main Header ==

It is advisable to write a short summary of what thepage is about. For example: <br>
"The Tauren re huge, bestial creatures who live in the grassy, open barrens of central Kalimdor. They live to serve nature and maintain the balance between the wild things of the land and the restless spirit of the elements. Despite their enormous size and brute strength, the remarkably peaceful Tauren have cultivated a quiet, tribal society." ''- from the [http://www.wow-europe.com/en/info/races/tauren.html Official World of Warcraft site]''

== Header ==

This could be history, for example.

=== Sub-header ===
=== Sub-header ===
Write about things that are still history but deserve a seperate header here. For example, a historical Tauren hero.

== Header ==

Move on to a new topic. In this example, this topic could be magic in Tauren society.

Create as many sections as you want.

== Links ==

=== Internal Links ===
Link to other Abnormalia pages that are somehow relevant here as well as in the main body of the text.
=== External Links ===
Link to relevant pages and sites that aren't part of Abnormalia here.

End the page with a horizontal line. This keeps the page tidy.

== Page Creation Policy ==

Using the above example, the ONLY correct URL for the page would be <nowiki>http://editthis.info/abnormalia/Culture:_The_Lindist_Religion</nowiki> If you are absolutely certain your article doesn't fit any of the existing subsections, you are allowed to create one as long as you provide us with the correct links on the relevant pages.

*'''Be as specific as you can'''. If you want to add an article about a race of elves you've created, do not name the page 'elves' but rather use the name of the race. Chances are you're not the only one who came up with a new elven race.

== Content Policy ==

*When an author has specified that you cannot use the material on a page, respect that. The 'CAN/CANNOT use this content' banner means that '''you cannot write anything to do with the content of that specific page'''. You cannot create biographies for the characters mentioned, nor for the races or places. In short, if it's on there, you cannot use it in any way, shape or form.

== Editing Policy ==

== General Rule ==

'''THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.''' They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.

== Editing Policy ==

== General Rule ==
'''
THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT.''' They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.

== Page Creation Policy ==

== Content Policy ==

*When an author has specified that you cannot use the material on a page, respect that. The 'CAN/CANNOT use this content' banner means that you cannot write anything to do with the content of that specific page. You cannot create biographies for the characters mentioned, nor for the races or places. In short, if it's on there, you cannot use it in any way, shape or form.

*Untill further notice, articles submitted to Abnormalia ''must'' be speculative fiction. In the context of Abnormalia, this includes science fiction, fantasy, horror fiction, supernatural fiction, and magic realism.

*You are not allowed to submit any articles that reference existing persons, places, history (actual or alternate), events or mythology, nor obvious parodies of these. Be creative. It's what this wiki is for.

*This is an English wiki. All articles and discussions must be written in English. The ONLY exception is when you have created a language or are using a language created by another author. If this is the case, provide translations.

*Do not submit copyrighted work without permission. I cannot stress this enough. No idea exists in a vacuum and all artists have their sources of inspiration, however blatant plagiarism can and will get you permanently banned if discovered. When referencing the work of another author, be sure to do this in the form of a citation.

*You are allowed to use adult material in your articles if, and only if, it is relevant to the subject of the article and fits the theme of Abnormalia.

== If you do not agree with this policy ==

Use the discussion tab to suggest changes, removal of policies or the adding of new ones. Chances are you've got a point and the policy will be changed.
The discussion tab is also the place to go with questions regarding these policies. For general editing help, visit the Help section in the navigation bar. If you want an example of how a page looks when it is made according to the rules stated below, have a look at the [[Template Page]]

== Page Creation Policy ==

*To create a new page, simply add the desired name at the end of the wiki URL.

*Include the subsection you are creating a pge for in the name of the page.

*Be as specific as you can. If you want to add an article about a race of elves you've created, do not name the page 'elves' but rather use the name of the race. Chances are you're not the only one who came up with a new elven race.

*Before writing the main body of your article, clearly mention if your article is science fiction/fantasy/other in nature, contains adult or otherwise potentially offense material and if other users are allowed to use the content of that page to create their own articles. A short mention of this at the top of the article will suffice. If you do not follow this rule, we will assume you approve of othersusing your content and will mark the page as such.

*The subsections are there for a reason. If you have created a forest, the article about that forest would go in the Geography section. If there is a tribe of people living in that forest, make a seperate article in the Races section and link to it. If these people follow a certain religion, the details of it would be written down in an article in the Culture section and, again, be linked to. You get the idea.

*After creating a new article, be sure to put a link in the relevant section.

*If you wish to create a page based on the work of another author (for example, someone has created a biography for a starship captain and you want to write an article about his or her ship) remember that the original author has every right to edit your article or even remove it according to his or her vision.

*Before adding a new page it's a good idea to have a more or less complete version of your article ready. Create your article in any text editor, run it through a spell checker, then copy and paste it into the edit field. This helps keep Abnormalia clean.

== Content Policy ==

When adressing hot topics such as paedophelia, racism, substance abuse or any other illegal subject, ask yourself if this is necessary for your article.

*Articles must be submitted in the form of a quasi-scientific article. This means facts, even if they are made up. For flowery prose we have the Fiction section.

*When submitting follow-up articles (for example, a biography of a hero you mentioned in a previous article) always assume your readers are not familiar with your previous articles. Imagine that this is the first Abnormalia article your readers see. Be as clear and factual as you can and use links.

*Link, link, link. This is a wiki after all. There can never be too many relevant links, internal as well as external.

== Editing Policy ==

*You are ALWAYS allowed to edit articles to correct grammar/spelling/assorted editorial disasters and/or tidy the layout of the page. You are even very much encouraged to do so.

*Authors are asked to specify whether the allow or forbid the use of their original content. YOU CANNOT CHANGE THIS. Doing so will result in permanent banning.

*When editing the actual content of an article, be prepared to provide a clear, thourough explanation of why you chose to do this (inconsistency, scientific impossibilities, etc.) and remember that the author ALWAYS has the final word. It's their fantasy after all.

*You are free to edit key pages like the Main Page and Current Events. So far, the only protected page on Abnormalia is this one, the rest can be edited at your discretion. However we do ask you think this through.

*As an author, you have every right to forbid editing of your articles. If this is your wish, contact an admin to discuss the possibility of protecting your article, banning all users (including yourself!) from editing.

== General Rule ==

THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.
Have you ever watched a long running sci-fi show like Stargate and wondered how the entire universe and all alternate dimentions have somehow managed to adopt English as their mother tongue? Yes, it IS annoying. So, if you've created a new language, be it from scratch or using an existing language as a template, share it here. You can add pages with general discriptions and evolutions of a language mentioned in the races section, word lists, grammar guides, anything to do with language.

Admin:

== What is a Wiki? ==

== What is Abnormalia? ==

== Before Editing Abnormalia ==

*Please [[http://editthis.info/abnormalia/Main_Page?title=Special:Userlogin&returnto=Main_Page create a user account]]. Anonymous users are restricted to reading the articles and creating a user account. Logged in users can move pages, read content, edit pages and upload files.
*Be sure to read the [[http://editthis.info/abnormalia/Abnormalia_policy Abnormalia Policy]]. Don't say nobody told you.
*Minors: pages may contain references to adult material, in which case this will be clearly mentioned at the top of each article. View at your discretion.
*Abnormalia currently has a file upload space of 25MB. Keep this in mind when uploading files.
Put simply, if they're not human, they are members of a fantasy race and deserve a page in this section. Be carefull not to put to much detail the history of the race or their religion. It is okay to give an account of these things, but if you wish to elaborate, do so in the Culture category.
Maybe you've created a race of people and want to tell us more about them by writing the biography of a specific member of that race. Maybe you've read a short story about a hero and want to create a factual account of his life, or maybe you just have little people in your head and want them out of there. If it concerns one particular person, this is the place for that article. It is a good idea to include an image of the person and a short summary before the main body, although you are not obligated to do so.
Abnormalia policy

Admin:

== If you do not agree with this policy ==

Use the discussion tab to suggest changes, removal of policies or the adding of new ones. Chances are you've got a point and the policy will be changed.
The discussion tab is also the place to go with questions regarding these policies. For general editing help, visit the Help section in the navigation bar.

== Page Creation Policy ==

*To create a new page, simply add the desired name at the end of the wiki URL.

*Include the subsection you are creating a pge for in the name of the page.

*Be as specific as you can. If you want to add an article about a race of elves you've created, do not name the page 'elves' but rather use the name of the race. Chances are you're not the only one who came up with a new elven race.

*Before writing the main body of your article, clearly mention if your article is science fiction/fantasy/other in nature and/or contains adult or otherwise potentially offense material. A short mention of this at the top of the article will suffice.

== Content Policy ==

== Editing Policy ==

*You are ALWAYS allowed to edit articles to correct grammar/spelling/assorted editorial disasters and/or tidy the layout of the page. You are even very much encouraged to do so.

== General Rule ==

THE ADMINS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. They have the final word in disputes, can and will ban you if you behave in a disordely manner and generally have the right to do anything they damn well please.

Admin:

== What is a Wiki? ==

== What is Abnormalia? ==

== Before Editing Abnormalia ==
