Story

Part 19-1: Was This Scripted!?

At Gisho Castle, Topper was complaining at the number of prophecies that occur in stories, having the script to this one and complaining that there's a prophecy in it. Oshy pointed out that with the script, they know what'll happen anyway. On the roof, Top and Testube were looking out into space with a telescope when Top noticed a spaceship coming towards the planet. Testube checked, then saw that the spaceship was in plain site without it and began to panic. Inside, the castle began to shake; Oshy thought it was an earthquake, but Topper said it was a spaceship about to crash into the castle.

The next day, PB and Sunset came after seeing a streak in the sky the night before and saw the castle was half-destroyed with a rocketship in the rubble. Topper was digging through the rubble, looking for his ship, while Top was talking about the aliens coming to take over the planet (pointing to the rocketship). After being reminded he was an alien technically by Oshy, Top began to panic. Topper found his script and read that Top said his line, and the two began to argue. Apricot bonked them with an egg to stop them, and the rocketship door opened.

Mershin, a shaman like Merlon only similar to Boddle, came out and introduced himself. Mershin said the targeting system went on the fritz, but was surprised at something: "they" said that "it" would take centures, but "it" was only a year. Everyone was confused, and Mershin explained that it was only a year since they sent the rocket into orbit, him along with a baby star. The rocket would then return when the acceptor of the star's power would be ready. According to Top, however, nothing like that had happened in the past year.

They went to Oh Gee to get his opinion, and learned from Mershin that the rocket left on the year "zero". Having been two thousand nine years since then, yet only feeling like a year to Mershin, the rocket would therefore have been going at about 99.9% the speed of light. Therefore, it meant that the shaman who would accept the star's power was in their day and age, and Topper said the script said they needed to go see Merlon first to learn more about what happened.

Part 19-2: Journey to the Center of Not Where They Are Right Now

They went to the Merlon of Toad Town, and Mershin acted as though he knew him while Merlon didn't. After hearing the name Mershin, however, Merlon did recognize the name, and invited them in. Inside Merlon took out a Book of Shamans and explained that each shaman has a specific name because that is their job. The name Mershin meant the deliverer, the one to deliver the baby star to the shaman that would accept it. The problem was, however, there was no specific name for who would accept it. Merlon suggested they go to Starborn Valley and speak with his son, Merle, who would likely be able to help them find the shaman they needed. However, after they left, Merlon wondered if he should have warned them that when a shaman would be ready to accept the star, a great evil would be reawakened.

Team TOT, PB, Sunset and Mershin headed north to Shiver City, and tried to go to Snow Road, but the bumpty refused them and told them to go [s]kill[/s] talk to the mayor. As they went, they trudged into a pointless subplot where they overheard some bumpties trying to kill the mayor so Oshy, PB and Sunset rushed in while Topper complained that they would just take the blame. After they rushed in, they saw a bumpty with a hammer and an unconscious mayor. They chased the bumpty out, but the mayor's wife mistook them for the killers.

Part 19-3: The Koopa Beast

Mayor Penguin's wife brought in the Penguin Patrol and began to explain her side of the story, then Team TOT, PB and Sunset tried to explain what happened when Mayor Penguin woke up. It turned out that the "assassins" were actually trying to get him out so he could sneak off to a concert not far from there. Thus, the stupidest subplot ever ended.

Meanwhile, at Bowser's Castle, Kammy Koopa was looking through some books in the castle library. She noted the books were older than she was, wanting some new materials, then took out a black book. She gasped at what it was, and was about to run out when Kamek came in. Kammy showed Kamek what she had found: The Dark Prognosticus! Kammy was off to tell Bowser, but Kamek suggested they wait, as Bowser may not utilize its full power; he had gone on a whole adventure just to stop its use, after all. Kamek opened the book and read a section:

The stars shall shine in the snowy east,
Unless interrupted by the Koopa beast.
The traveling group will have a star,
But they will not make it very far.
In the wake of the star power that fell,
The world shall be covered in the Koopa shell.

...even though the verses didn't normally rhyme. Either way, there was a star heading east they needed to interrupt, and Kammy knew exactly who to call.

Part 19-4: Not-So Crystal Clear

The group made it to the entrance to Crystal Palace, meaning they were at the halfway point. With that, they began to take a quick break to appreciate the beauty of the area... although according to Topper, it was a bit louder than he expected. Just then, Gluposs fell from the sky on top of him! Some of them recognized him, and Gluposs explained that Crystal King kicked him out of the Crystal Palace. Gluposs wanted to go with them, having nowhere else to go, and they agreed.

Meanwhile, at the top of Crystal Palace, Crystal King had just reclaimed the palace when his Bowser Phone rang. He answered, and it was Kammy, telling him that some travelers with a baby star would be coming by soon and needed to be stopped. Crystal King looked through his spotting scope and spotted the group and saw they had a baby star, as well as they were already passing the palace!

At Bowser's Castle, Bowser almost found out about The Dark Prognosticus, telling Kammy and Kamek to stop wasting time and to come up with a new evil plan. Kammy suggested they tell Bowser about the book, but Kamek disagreed. Back at Snow Road, the group continued on the path when a bunch of Frost Piranhas popped out of the ground, blocking their way.

Part 19-5: Crystalline Ambush

The group fought against the frost piranhas, and soon a group of gulpits came as well, after which some duplighosts also joined the fight. They were all defeated, however, but then a spiked club nearly hit Sunset when a lance countered it and Frob and Bread showed up. Some white clubbas showed up, and they decided to speak with one another after the fight was over. Once the white clubbas were disposed of, Frob and Bread explained why they left (sort of), and the group explained what they were doing there. Crystal King showed up, however, saying they would not make it.

Part 19-6: Topmonhit Story On Ice!

The group began to battle against Crystal King, but Crystal King formed a blizzard to prevent fire attacks and froze Top. He then froze Gluposs, blocking most attacks with his Crystal Bits. Crystal King also split into copies and used a blizzard attack to freeze Oshy, Sunset and Bread (strangely enough, all the yoshis at once). With just Topper, Frob and PB left, the three used a team attack that used electricity to get rid of the clones, then all three attacked Crystal King separately, defeating him. The others were thawed out, and Frob and Bread decided to travel with them to help.

Part 19-7: Author of the Dark Prognosticus

When the group neared Starborn Valley, Monstar appeared and threatened to eat them; Top instead began trying to inhale it, causing the star kids to panic and run away. When they entered Starborn Valley, Merle met with them, though having expected them sooner. Frob said they had a run-in with some foes, and Merle was worried the star was already known about. They went into his house and Merle told them that they needed to go north, where the shaman they needed would be. They would leave first thing in the morning, but they would need to hurry, as if the baby star was already known by outside forces, it would only be a matter of time.

When asked what he meant, Merle began to explain about The Dark Prognosticus, causing Team TOT, PB and Sunset to fall over. They recalled their last encounter with the book, when Sneen died and his light and dark sides were split. Merle explained the book was written on the very planet they were on over two thousand years ago. The author used his dark prophecies to try and take over the planet, but shamans from all different tribes banded to defeat him. They feared the author would one day return, though, so they wrote the Light Prognosticus and sent Mershin with the baby star into orbit.

Unfortunately, at Bowser's Castle, Kamek and Kammy were fuming over Crystal King's loss when Bowser overheard them speaking of a book. Back at Starborn Valley, Gluposs asked where the Light Prognosticus was, but Merle said another tribe had it in another dimension. He said they would only hope they knew what to do, as the star would be ready to be used when the author's revenge would begin. With that, it suddenly got a lot harder.

Part 19-8: New Character Approaching!

The group got up at 6 AM and began the journey to the temple, taking a week to do so. After the week passed, they finally reached the North Star Temple. They went inside and began to look for the shaman they needed, but instead found an old friend, Wiggly Jr.! He had gone on the exact same path they did at the end of Wiggly Jr.: Second Journey. Before they began to catch up, however, Mershin reminded them they had a job to do, and they explained it to Wiggly Jr. Wiggly Jr. had an idea as to who they were looking for, and led them to the shaman.

Wiggly Jr. knocked on a door in the temple, calling for Merlia, and it opened up to reveal a female shaman, Merlia. Gluposs said that she was pretty (with Topper asking how he can tell), and they told Merlia they were there to give her a star to stop an ancient evil. Merlia said she had heard stories about such things, and the star floated over to her. Unfortunately, there was a problem: None of them knew how to activate the star! Merlia invited them to stay at the temple until they figured it out, and later that night Wiggly Jr. explained to them how he got to the temple.

After explaining the events of Wiggly Jr.: Second Journey, Wiggly Jr. continued on to when he got to the temple, saying that his mother had come here and the shard she brought was sent into a dream world, and PB realized that it was Koholint. Unfortunately, Wiggly Jr. said, after she came to the temple she became ill and died. Wiggly Jr. decided to stay there and pay respects, but it went a bit long and he was stuck there during the next winter. After winter, however, he became ill with the same sickness his mother had. Although his condition progressively got worse, he eventually began to improve (which he says was thanks to his mother's spirit) and he was fine; however, by the time he was up and about the next winter had come, keeping him there until that group had arrived the day before he was going to leave.

Part 19-9: It Was a Filler Part, but Then Came Green!

The part began with filler, with the only important things were Frob attempting to learn an energy-type attack and Gluposs tried to begin a conversation with Merlia. Merlia explained her position at the temple as a psychologist, and Gluposs explained his past about him running away from his parents. Just then, the baby star began to glow and Merlia had a vision: They needed "the man in green". They decided to call a meeting. Merlia announced they needed someone to activate the star's power, the man in green, with the Order of Eidolon. Immediately Top knew it was Luigi. Now they needed to return to Toad Town, and so first thing in the morning they would return to Toad Town to find Luigi.

Part 19-10: Defeat of the Koopa Beast

The next day, they began down the path back to Starborn Valley. Top began asking if they were there yet, though it would take them about a week to get there. Just then, a voice roared at them, and Bowser and Kamek appeared! They were there to steal the baby star and use its power for their own evil needs, but the heroes refused them, of course, and a battle began. Kamek's wand was taken, but he could still use some magic without it, while Gluposs copied Bowser and the two fought it out. Eventually Wiggly Jr. hit Bowser head-on with four sword beams, defeating him. Kamek was defeated by Gluposs squishing her as a Thwomp, and thus the story ended.

Part 19-11: The Adventure Continues!

Except not really, because then the area became dark and Kammy Koopa appeared! Her robes were now longer with a strange pattern on them, a taller hat, dark glasses, a dark-looking staff was in her hand, and she was sitting in a floating throne with spikes on the back. Next to her in the chair was the Dark Prognosticus. Bowser jumped up and yelled at her, but Kammy said he wasn't giving the orders anymore. Kammy revealed that her ancestor, Kastrodoms, was the author of The Dark Prognosticus. Now that Kammy had realized the power she had, she said the koopa beast would awaken under a new ruler.

Bowser, naturally, was outraged, but before he finished speaking he was hit by a dark explosion. Kammy then summoned an old "fiend" of Wiggly Jr.'s, the Darkost from Return of FOEA. Kammy explained that they were demons brought forth by Kastrodoms to aid him in world conquest, and one was released to locate The Dark Prognosticus but Wiggly Sr. defeated it. Kammy then summoned a whole army of them, sending them off to take over the kingdom while she prepared to take the baby star. Gluposs refused to let her near Merlia, but Frob told them to get her out of there.

Top pulled out his Wheelie Scooter and stuffed it full of special fuel, but as it began shaking Oshy quickly grabbed with his tongue before it zoomed off. Unfortunately, it zoomed off with his tongue, so Topper grabbed onto Oshy, and then Gluposs and Merlia grabbed onto Topper and the four of them zoomed off while PB, Sunset, Frob, Bread and Wiggly Jr. were left to fight Kammy. Unfortunately, since Top's special fuel didn't last very long, they were all thrown off the scooter when it stopped into the snow. Topper began to quickly dig a tunnel, allowing them to escape underground.

Part 19-12: Doom and Whatnot

At the SWDF Mushroom Kingdom base, Sub rushed in and told a receptiontoad to call a meeting of every general at the base. He had sensed something dark to the noth, and it was coming closer. Tron appeared and was his normal wacky self. Jet Gundam and some Jet MK things appeared, asking what the trouble was, and Shem appeared, exclaiming that it was "bad guys!" Sub explained he felt a force of darkness to the north, and it was getting closer.

At the path to Starborn Valley, Frob, Bread and PB were fighting Kammy while Wiggly Jr. and Sunset took care of the Darkost. Although they each got a few attacks in, it began to seem that Kammy was much more powerful than they anticipated. Meanwhile, the Darkost was having trouble because Wiggly Jr. and Sunset were using light attacks, which was "totally unfair". Kammy summoned more Darkost to help, and soon they were all overwhelmed.
