| - | The Yoshi Bodyguards was an RP that started back on NSider and spanned many, many boards with the help of its loyal RPers. The organization was one of the largest RPs on the Nsider forums, and was the original idea behind the YB universe. The organization was first based on the concept of protecting Yoshi and the Yoshi race, but turned into something more. Now, it contains a massive Clone Army, and constantly is on the offensive to make the universe a better place. The core Yoshi Bodyguards broke up in July 2008, leaving only a few members and its Clone Army still active.

| - | The Yoshi Bodyguards began when Asmodeus Yoshiler, also known as Yoshi., noticed a relative of his, named [[Yoshi (Character)|Yoshi]], was beginning to gain some enemies. He thus began The Yoshi Bodyguards, a group dedicated to protecting Yoshi. Soon the group began to attract members such as [[Sneezier]], Comet, and [[Pyro]]. One day, however, a radioactive Bullet Bill slammed into their headquarters, decimating it and badly injuring Yoshi.. He had to go to the hospital, where he was under intensive care for months.

Sneezier returned, but Comet and Pyro did not; new members began to show up, however, including [[Power Box]], [[Topper Mon Hit]], and [[Mack]]. It would seem that Missingno. and King Boo were working together somehow, and that there was an even bigger mastermind behind those two...

| - | One of the YB was discovered to have been possessed by Dark Matter, which appeared to be the mastermind behind King Boo and Missingno. The YB soon got an ally, however, in the form of [[Sandbag]]. While most of the YB went off to do something else<small>[I honestly have no clue what this was]</small>, Topper and Sandbag went to track down Dark Matter and Missingno. Unfortunately, it was then found out that Sandbag was in fact leading all three of them; Topper was kidnapped, and the YB had to go destroy their castle. They escaped via teleportation, only to end up in another castle where [[Cackletta]], [[Fawful]], and [[Gruntilda Winkybunion]] had kidnapped Mario, Luigi, Banjo and Kazooie. They quickly destroyed the castle, however, and escaped once more via teleport. It was not long after that Topper supposedly mutated into a Kirby, although it was later learned he fell through a portal and somehow [[Top Mon Hit]] replaced him.

| - | To make the YB's job much more difficult, a multi-billion corporation named [[Darkcorp]] led by [[Dark Sneezier]] has caught the attention of Sneezier, Top, and Mack. One of reasons is that they tried to rescue Mario, Luigi, and Peach mainly due to propaganda humiliation in front of the general public. After the rescue operation, Darkcorp became the YB's first major enemy. The Yoshi Bodyguards is usually taking out their superweapons mainly due to their destruction value and they are more dangerous in the hands of a third world dictator or warlord.

| - | One known event involved the YB having to rebuild their HQ after it was destroyed for some reason. During the rebuilding, they came across a Chaos Emerald, and soon after Dark Top appeared to them, but was merged with Light Top. Soon after, Top found a [[Hypno Beam]]. It seemed harmless until he accidently used it on a YB and Dark Top began to get Top to use it on more. He just about took over the YB when the Chaos Emerald he had in it went haywire and nearly killed them all. Light Top temporarily gained control, however, and Top supposedly sacrificed himself.

| - | Instead, however, he was simply teleported to Dreamland, but now had amnesia. Dark Top had split from Top once more, and got back to Darkcorp, which [[Metal Top]] had now joined. The YB detected them heading to Popstar, so they followed them and found Darkcorp was going to try and roboticize Popstar; before their plan began, however, Metal Top betrayed them and tried to use the roboticizer himself. It then caused the Darkcorp ship to crash into Popstar, but this ruined Metal Top's plan as well. Top randomly got his memory back and the YB came and battled Darkcorp and Metal Top escaped but Dark Top was capture and everything ended happily.
