DISCLAIMER or something we need one of those fancy box things: This article is about events that took place at Tick Tack Dude. Therefore, some information may be incorrect.

Pokemon Platinum 2--YB Version is a Yoshi Bodyguards RP by Topmonhit, and is also the last YB RP he made before beginning Topmonhit Story. The story involves very little plot, but is the only connecting thing between the first Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon Platinum 3.

Characters (Possibly Incomplete): Various YB Members (including, but not limited to, Top Mon Hit, Oshy Gisho, Topper Mon Hit, Sneen, Lucky, probably Danny), Chemoly?????, Ferdinand, Tops, Tragon, Octbert, Mickey Doe, Articuno, Tron, Zapdos, Peyn, Evan_{[I honestly have no clue who this is, but it might've been a character one of those people not around anymore like Tidal or FIRELYNX]}, Moltres, Nocktor, Yoshi, Lugia, Ho-Oh Mew, Rening

Locations (Possibly Incomplete): Yoshi Bodyguards HQ, Pokéworld, Mysterious Island Chain in Orange Islands

Time Period: July 2007

Story

One day, the YB find out Yoshi has, once again, been kidnapped. This time, however, the kidnapper contacts the YB, and explains they mean no harm; instead, they simply kidnapped Yoshi to get their attention so that they would go to the Pokéworld and collect eight badge-like items for the kidnapper. Even though it made no sense, the YB obliged.

Island 1: Legendary Grass Battle

The first island that the item was located was filled with grass types. The grass types had them battle a single Pokémon, however: A Shaymin. However, during the battle, it was revealed to just be a Cherubi in disguise, so then the real battle began against a Venusaur (the leader), a Vileplume, and apparently Chemoly. The group won, and was given the item: A shard of some sort of shiny stone...

Island 2: High-Flying Battle

In the second island, the YB found flying types. They battled Ferdinand, the leader, a Ninjask, and a Jumpluff. The YB won and recieved the next shard.

Island 3: A Rocky Discovery

On the 3rd island, the YB discovered rock types, and battled against a Kabutops named Tops (the leader), a Cradily, and an Aerodactyl. During the fight, however, the YB learned the shards were in fact of a powerful crystal, not just some fancy trinkets. However, there was also a prophecy that the crystal would be obtained by some heroes, but because Tops couldn't be completely certain they were the heroes, they still had to fight on each island. They won and recieved the 3rd shard.

Island 4: Dragons: Large and in Charge

On island 4, the YB found it had dragons, and they battled against Tragon, the leader, and two other Pokémon (it is unknown what they were).

Island 5: White Water Rapids

On island 5, the YB battled against the leader, a Quagsire, Octbert, and a Wailord named Mickey Doe. Although they won, after leaving, Octbert mysteriously disappeared...

Island 6: Frozen Fury of the Flyer

On the 6th island, which held Ice types, the YB battled an Abomasnow as the leader, a Glalie, and the legendary Pokémon Articuno. They still were able to win and get the 6th shard.

Island 7: Thunder-Charged Clash!

On island 7, the YB fought against electric types: the leader, an Elekid, Tron, and Zapdos. They won and got the 7th shard, leaving only one more left.

Island 8: Fighting Fire and a Legend

On the final island (supposedly), the YB fought against fire types: the leader, Peyn, Evan (who may have been a Flareon?), and Moltres. They were able to defeat them all and got the final shard, putting it back together. They then made their way to where the kidnapper was...

Final Island: Insanely Destructive Damage of a Demon

On the final island, the kidnapper revealed to be not-so-nice and sent a Sableye, Dusclops and Banette after the YB. They were defeated, but then Octbert appeared out of nowhere and attacked the YB. He was eventually defeated, after which the final fight appeared--Nocktor. He revealed to have been playing the YB for saps (not a whole lot given the YB found out about the shards' power earlier) and was going to use the crystal to give himself near-infinite power. Although the YB fought hard, they began to lose, and Nocktor got ahold of the crystal.J

ust then, some of the island Pokémon appeared, including Ferdinand, Tops and Peyn! Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres helped, along with Lugia, who showed up, then Ho-Oh appeared and finally Mew! With the combined strength of all of them, Nocktor was eventually defeated, the crystal shattered, and Mew opened a portal to the underworld where he sent Nocktor... but then he reached back out and tried to take Mew with him! Everyone began to pull, trying to stop Nocktor, but it seemed like they'd all get dragged in when a ball of light hit Nocktor, sending him spiralling into the underworld. The ball of light was from Rening, who had sensed Nocktor from far away! With that, Yoshi was saved, and Nocktor was beaten.

Original Story

Modern-Day Changes

The original story had no prophecy. Tops believed the YB, but they just had to fight all the Pokémon for no good reason. This change was made while making this article.

• This story marks the first appearance of Ferdinand, Octbert, and Peyn.
  • This story would also mark the first appearance of Chemoly, but Topmonhit is unsure if he actually did that or not, as he does not recall it.
• This is the last YB story Topmonhit did before Topmonhit Story began. However, it would not be the last YB story he did overall; Icy Heart of Darkness! The Final Story of Sneen! would be.

Connections to Other Stories

• This story is the connector story in the Pokemon Platinum Saga--the first and third stories in that saga have essentially nothing to do with one another.
• After this story, Tron joined the YB.
