Gonji is a brown jinjo from a Jinjo village known as Jinjville who was a Stop 'n' Swop enthusiast for many years. After finding out what it was, however, he became less enthusiastic and more... something. He's probably a nerd of some sort. And he's a jinjo. I think I already said that part.

Top Story Bio

As far back as Gonji can remember he's been interested in the phenomenon known as Stop 'n' Swop. Most people think it's a myth and not real. Gonji believes in it, though. A while ago he left Jinjville to go search for SNS. Along the way he met a strange pirate named Blackeye, who gave him a map which he believes may lead to Stop 'n' Swop. He finally got to Jinjo Village, where he lives now. He wanted to check Spiral Mountain, since he's heard of 2 eggs being there, but never got around to it due to complications. Recently he got through to Spiral Mountain only to meet the YB there! They went on a journey to find the SNS eggs, battling Cackletta, Fawful and Grunty along the way (who were also after the eggs), and at the end finding the supposed secret of SNS is less than spectacular. And so, he now lives at Jinjo Village, no longer thinking much of SNS, but still living there.

History

Traveling to Jinjo Village

All of Gonji's life, he had been obsessed with a strange phenomena known as Stop 'n' Swop. No one really knew what it was, all they really knew was that it held a great secret that was probably really great and stuff. Eventually, Gonji decided to leave his home of Jinjville to find this mythical phenomena. Along the way, he got lost, and was given a strange map from a pirate which had nine locations, four of which had circles on them, one of which had a key on it, and two of which had a skull on it. One of the locations, however, had both a circle and a skull on it. He also met a chicken named Chimeck who helped him figure out his way to Jinjo Village.

Anyway, eventually Gonji found his way to Jinjo Village, which he heard had been near a couple smaller Mystery Eggs, the main components of Stop 'n' Swop. Unfortunately, the path to Spiral Mountain was blocked off, so Gonji tried to get some dynamite to blast his way through. What he didn't know, however, was that explosives were illegal in Jinjo Village, so they tried to take them from him. They ran into the Digger Tunnel, where two strange robots named Flare and Chopper attacked them. The explosives destroyed them, however, and the jinjos escaped.

Gonji was put on trial, and as the trial escelated to include the robots, two jinjos were suddenly kidnapped by them. Gonji went off to save them, ending up at Bubblegloop Swamp and meeting Croco and Bien in the process. He also met Kienstrom, who had kidnapped the jinjos, and wanted to do experiments on them. He almost experimented on Gonji, but was stopped and defeated, leaving the planet. For the next year, Gonji didn't do much.

The Secret of Stop 'n' Swop

Nearly one year later, Gonji finally got through the Digger Tunnel and into Spiral Mountain. There, he met The Yoshi Bodyguards, who were also looking for the SNS eggs! Thus, Gonji helped them out in finding them, and in the end, found the secret to apparently be stupid and dumb. This would not be the case, however, as several months later Jinjo Village was attacked by Gruntilda and Minjy Jongo. Some members of the YB showed up to ward them off, but a strange creature called Mogmire froze them all in time and they got away with the Crystal Jiggy. Apparently Grunty, Cackletta and Fawful had the eggs, and were using them in conjuction with a bunch of other powerful items to take over Star World. Thus, Gonji went to help them out. In the end, they somehow found the true secret of SNS to be a single wish, but it was wasted by a thing known as Parnky. Gonji returned to Jinjo Village and stuff after that.

For Jinjiving 2007, Gonji invited Croco and Bien (and Chimeck as well) for Jinjiving dinner, although he partly invited Croco and Bien so they could bring a turkey. They never did.
