This is the general timeline for things.

Background for the Timeline

The Yoshi Bodyguard Timeline is a deviation from the canon, or Mario Timeline. The deviation started in 2500 of the Mario Timeline when a youth named Mexous "Sneezier" Sniffin and a group known as the Plasmocs discovered the secrets to time travel. After a war with the Plasmocs devastated most of the known galaxy, Sneezier traveled back in time to attempt to undo the timeline he inhabited. He arrived in the 2003 AZ, and provided past generations with the technology to prevent his timeline from coming about. Unbeknownst to him, he had arrived in a timeline where the Plasmocs had already accidently modified various points in the distant past, leading to an unstable timeline with a different series of events.

The timeline paradox lead to a large dimensional instability in the Yoshi Bodyguard Timeline. This lead to psychic rifts that placed the Ork and Necron races in the physical universe, the rise of the Celestial Architects as a major power, wormholes that connected to various other parallel universes, and the appearance of the mysterious Cloud, who has kept the dimensional instabilities from tearing the timeline apart.
