Chaos and Espionage
Litera stayed in the Citadel of Ultima, which was still under construction and still in need of a power source. The leader of the base, Ultra Stuffwell, found a power source in a Chaos Emerald, but noticed that there were a number of groups hunting for all seven after they were scattered in X-Chaos. He sent Litera into the fray with a mission to disrupt anyone who went searching for the Metal Army's emerald.
He moved to Star World, the center of the chaos, and infiltrated a group of rebels who were dissatisfied with the power of the Council of Star World and its SWDF. He disguised himself as a standard human and began to manipulate them into harassing the Yoshi Bodyguards to keep them from continuing their hunt for the emerald. He soon assassinated the old leader of the group, and regathered them while recruiting various mercenaries, including Eli, Amphy, Paper, and Christopher. With a small army at his command, he decided to uncover what Star World knew about the emeralds and its location. Thus he moved to raid their research station at Fahr Outpost.
When he moved in to attack the base, he came across an X-Naut force under Admiral Stalvick. Seeing the X-Nauts as another faction to manipulate, he joined forces with them with the offer of showing them a back route into their base. Litera helped raid the base on Fahr Outpost, freeing Ripvor and Teen Angst from the research facility. After they raided the databanks, Litera and his men were considered conscripts of the X-Naut Army and brought under Stalvick's command.
Litera helped with the raid on the Renton Shipyards, and warned the X-Nauts that the SWDF could typically respond with an assault force within several hours of an attack.
