-Chills Pacone, The Dark Cloud (Part 27-6: For Better or Worse Markets)

Chills Pacone is the effective ruler of Shiver Star, owning over 50% of the planet's businesses and organizations. He is the son of a former mafia boss who had died in the creating of Darkcorp, and had once seeked revenge for this. He seems to be cold and cruel with very little remorse, but has been said to have a soft spot somewhere.

History

Entering the Mafia World

Chills was raised in very good (or bad dependin on you view) company. He was sent to the finest schools for the finest learning. This, of course, was because his father, Sno Pacone, was a rich mafia boss in the starlite system. However, when Chills was halfway through his teen years, his father and most of his mafia was killed by Dark Sneezier and Dark Top, leading the way for Darkcorp. Other mafias began taking the territory that Sno had, and Chills had a very high probability of being killed by one of these rival mafias.

Before he was attacked, however, Sno's most trusted advisor, a snow-white waddle dee named Seet, managed to make it to Chills and warn him of what was happening. Having excelled in magic, Seet used this to get the two of them to escape before any rival mafia could find them, and they escaped to Shiver Star. There, Chills swore revenge on those that had killed his father, and along with Seet, began to build up his power. With help from Seet, secret funds Sno had kept, and some money Chills stole himself, he began to build his amount of money on Shiver Star, and began buying up failing corporations, some of which he helped boost in order to increase his own stock of money.

Soon Chills began buying controlling interest in larger companies that were also more powerful, as well as forming his own mafia, some of which included former members of Sno's mafia (such as Sletts and Snock), until three years after his father was killed, Chills had the controlling interest in the entire planet and forced his rule on the people, effective becoming ruler of Shiver Star. It was also about this time he crushed the other mafias that had attempted to kill him when his father was killed.

Halfway through 2009, Chills was contacted by Queen Snophia Icle of the Iclan Kingdom, a small, hidden kingdom in the mountains of Shiver Star. Her kingdom needed money to rebuild after being nearly destroyed, and so she set up an appointment with him to negotiate the terms on which Chills would aid her. When she arrived, however, she brought acquaintances to help her, two of which were Top and Sneezier, whom Chills thought were their Dark sides and attacked them. A brief skirmish occured, which ended in Chills being told that Top and Sneezier's dark sides were the one to kill his father, but Chills was still angry at them.

Topper suggested that if his father hadn't been killed, he wouldn't be in charge of an entire planet at the moment, and agreeing with this, he and Snophia finally made a decision: She would get a low interest rate, but Chills would get 40% of her kingdom's profits (as well as he would be told where her kingdom was). Chills later appeared in the story to save the main characters from Dimentio, who was about to destroy them with a nuke (he had come after learning Dark Top had returned, technically). In the end, Dark and Light Top were merged back together, and Chills returned to Shiver Star.

Discrepancies

While not a direct discrepancy with Chills, there was originally a Chilly character whose family was a part of a mafia, but said Chilly character did not know; he ran a shop, however, that had a basement where mafia meetings were sometimes held. This Chilly appeared in a short-lived Kirby Town RP made by Topmonhit. This Chilly would later be remade into Chills.

Chills Pacone is shown to be ruthless and criminal, not letting anyone get in his way no matter how he may hurt them. He cares mostly for himself and his mafia, and anyone else he will use for extortion. He tries to maintain a level of class, however, and leave the killing of people to his men; Chills is more on the business side of the mafia, using cruel and clever techniques to gain a high position of power. Despite this, he's been said to have a softer side that he refuses to let out, but is in there somewhere.

Abilities

Chills has an acute business sense, and in ways of fighting has all the normal Chilly abilities. More often, however, he uses weaponry to fight.

Rule over Shiver Star

Chills Pacone's rule over Shiver Star was not that different from before. The planet has become much more of a material society, with working and shopping two of the highest activities. People are generally content, although the smaller mafias that run around sometime instill fear in them, which is why they pay the mafias protection money (which in turn is paid to Chills Pacone so the mafias aren't snuffed out). This replaces actual taxes, however. In addition, not everyone under Chills' rule realizes he is a mafia boss; while some do, others do not know this, or believe otherwise.

Items

Chills often keeps at least one pistol or other type of weapon with him at all times for safety. He also wears shades.

Residence

Chills Pacone has a mansion at Shiver Star, but he does not actually live there; instead, it is used as a decoy building where someone wanting to attack him will attack the mansion, thinking he lives there, but not him. He instead lives at his office building, where he also works, making decisions for his rule over the planet. He employs about 40% of his mafia there as protection, personal guards, and main members, as well as office personnel who are not a part of his mafia, but instead are hired to keep things organized. Some of them realize Chills runs a mafia; others do not.
