Sneen is one of Topmonhit's older characters, originally created for Polomo. He would eventually expand beyond that, however, and become Topmonhit's longest-used character in The Yoshi Bodyguards that wasn't Top Mon Hit, Oshy Gisho, or Topper Mon Hit. He is often cited to be a good show of Topmonhit's more serious side, and Sneen has the longest Top Story Bio of all the Topmonhit Story characters. Despite this, he is a pseudo-retired character due to death.

Top Story Bio
Sneen once lived at Agate Village with another Sneasel named Leila, whom he loved. Things were well, until Team Cipher came along. Team Cipher tried to kidnap them, and though they tried to fight them back, Sneen was kidnapped and Leila killed. Sneen was made into a Shadow Pokemon at this point. Later on when he saw Ho-Oh in the air (at the climax of Pokemon Colloseum), and he got the courage to attack Cipher and run away. Afterwards he discovered an island, Polomo, and the Polmo berry, which, when eaten, allowed a Pokemon to speak human. There were other Pokemon on the island too, such as Belle, another Sneasel. Belle and Leila looked similar, and Sneen thought Belle could be Leila, but with amnesia. Sneen also discovered an island called Leaf Green Island, and there he saw Celebi. Seeing Celebi allowed him to become purified, and had his emotions back and stuff. However, when Sneen found out Belle was marrying a Kecleon named Zoomer, he realized his false hopes were... false. Sneen ended up leaving the island with the bad side of emotions, very depressed now, and ran into Topper at Hachacha. The YB appeared for a bit, so he was able to meet them, but not for long, and then later he went to Icefall Cave where he was for a while until a strange beam of light appeared and teleported him away. He ended up on a strange shrine where some of the YB was. He was then given a crystal star, and it turned out the YB needed help in defeating the Shadow King, so Sneen agreed to help. He found out that he liked helping people—he found that out when he saw the Shadow Creatures of the Shadow Dimension where the Shadow King was rejoicing about the Shadow King being defeated. He decided to join the YB then, as Leila would be disappointed to see him mope around. While at the YB he had a hoverboard he made earlier, and he started working with some chemical experiments. He eventually made the Sneasel Cruiser, a Cruiser based on a Sneasel. He's also modified a helmet that Metal Top Ship (see Metal Top) had tried to use on Sunset a while ago--it is now a mind reader helmet. He's also been working on a Project S, which is still under wraps (until The Plot of Evil Dreams). He left for Fahr Outpost after the events of The Plot of Evil Dreams. However, in a bizarre accident, his lab exploded, killing him. This occured right after his light and dark halves were accidently split, so when they both went to the Underwhere, his dark half took over the Underwhere by finding the Dark Prognosticus, which was in the Underwhere, and an item called the Frozen Heart, which gave him dark, cold powers. Once he took over the Underwhere, he began to freeze it, and freeze Star World so people would die from the cold and be sent to the Underwhere. He also locked up his light side, Luvbi, and Jaydes. However, his one mistake was having Dimentio (who was sent to the Underwhere after SPM) help him. Dimentio used some of his magic to blow up the YB HQ, sending the YB into the Underwhere so they could stop Dark Sneen. Dark Sneen didn't expect the YB to have a chance, though. Dark Sneen left them to battle foes as he headed to the Ovethere to kidnap Grambi as well. He then headed to a not-oft travelled section of the Underwhere, to wait for the complete freezing over of everything. However, the YB came along, but Dark Sneen still had a plan--use Project S and have the Frozen Heart power it. Unfortunately, Dimentio double-crossed him, replacing the Frozen Heart with a fake, and Dark Sneen died from his energy being drained. This meant Light Sneen, who was caged nearby, was going to die. They hurried to him, but he had no remorse. Earlier Luvbi looked into his heart, seeing his pain, and now that he was going to die (again), he would be reunited with his lost love, Leila. He then died, fading away, and is now living at the dimension deceased Ice type Pokemon go to with Leila, happy, and with a happy ending.
History
Leila and Cipher
Sneen was born in Orre at Agate Village, where he lived for the first part of his life. There, he knew a Sneasel of roughly the same age named Leila, and the two of them were very good friends. In fact, it was very likely that they loved each other, although neither would ever say it. One day, however, they heard of a group of humans called Cipher who were kidnapping Pokemon. They hoped that they would never encounter them, but alas, they did; Cipher attacked them, and in the process, Leila was killed and Sneen was kidnapped.
Once Sneen was kidnapped, Cipher turned him into a Shadow Pokemon, shutting off his emotions and turning him into a soulless fighting machine. This lasted for a few years until the climax of Pokemon Colloseum, in which Sneen saw Ho-Oh up in the sky. Seeing Ho-Oh allowed some of his emotions to break through--mostly anger, though, and he began to attack Cipher. He ran off as quickly as he could, and eventually made it to the ocean. He carved a small boat out of a tree and began to make his way across the ocean, eventually finding his way to a strange island...
Polomo
Sneen found himself on an island called Polomo, which featured strange fruits that, when eaten, gave Pokemon the ability to speak human (and other languages, it would seem). On this island, he met other strange Pokemon, such as a Treecko (later to evolve into a Grovyle) named Zar, a Kecleon named Zoomer, and another Sneasel named Belle. Sneen's memory had become fuzzy since being a Shadow Pokemon, and thought Belle looked similar to Leila--something in him convinced him that Leila had survived, and that maybe she had gotten amnesia, and that Belle was actually Leila.
While he was on Polomo, he found himself to be a gifted inventor, and using materials on the island, he was able to build a hoverboard. Go figure. Using this board of hovering, Sneen traveled to an island covered in a forest, which was named Leaf Green Island. While there, he came across a shrine to Celebi; when he approached it, Celebi suddenly appeared, and seeing Celebi suddenly purified Sneen, causing all sorts of emotions to flow through him, most of them happiness.
The happiness would not last long, however, as he learned Belle was marrying Zoomer; learning this, he realized he was being foolish to think Belle could have been Leila. It was then the realization of her being dead completely came to him, which caused him to go into a deep depression; he soon after left the island, prossably for good.
Depression
For a good several months, Sneen flew from place to place, no actual destination. At one point, he found an island similar to Polomo, although deserted save a Hitmontop named Topper. While he was there, a strange group of creatures that called themselves the Yoshi Bodyguards appeared. After a while, though, Sneen left, and eventually found himself at the Johto Ice Path, where he stayed secluded in his depression...
The Yoshi Bodyguards
A Purpose
One day, a strange light appeared out of nowhere and hit Sneen; when it did, Sneen was teleported to a dark shrine-like area where he once again saw the YB. He was confused, and a random star made of quartz, and then was explained what was going on. So, Sneen agreed to help them defeat the Shadow King and free the Shadow Dimension. Once they did, Sneen saw all the Shadow Creatures rejoicing in their freedom, and he realized what he had been doing was foolish--Leila wouldn't want him to mope, she would want him to help people. And so, he decided to join the Yoshi Bodyguards.
After getting a background check from Anubis, Sneen was cleared as became a member of the YB. However, a lot of his early comments were very pessemistic and negative; however, over time he began to make less negative comments, although at the same time he began to spend more time in his room (which was likely to stay away from the insane people of the YB). Despite this, he helped out when he could; when the YB found a strange crystal that was inside of Metal Top, he began to do some research on it. Also, when Phazon had begun to infect Star World; around this time, he built himself a cruiser he called the Sneasel Cruiser. A little while later, while trying to save Koop's family, the YB met Zar; Oshy thought Sneen might have known him, given they could both talk... but Sneen claimed he didn't. However, later Oshy called again and said he know Sneen was lying, so Sneen admitted he did know Zar; he didn't like to think about his past very much.
Coming of Darkness
When strange Dark Mist began to appear, possessing creatures and turning them dark, Sneen modified some Phazon Rifles from the phazon incident to counter the dark mist. When the YB found out where the dark mist was coming from--Morton Koopa Sr.--and were sent to a dark future ruled by him, Sneen found that his future self had been possessed by the dark mist, turning him into something even darker and more twisted than a Shadow Pokemon. At his future self's request, he actually killed his future self, then the YB hurried to return to the past so they could protect their future (by destroying the Morton of the present).
When the YB went to Koholint, the Dream Isle, Sneen was the only one who didn't have an opposite (or whatever) of him. However, he was able to shed some light on Zar and his necklace for them, as he knew Zar from Polomo. As for the rest of that story, Topmonhit wasn't around enough for it. Later, the darkness took a brief leave for the Holiday, but Sneen was a scrooge and didn't believe in any Santa. When the YB went to the North Pole, they found... Kienstrom "Angry Scientist"! Sneen was outraged when he found that Kienstrom did mutating experiments on creatures, and vowed to stop him. They all crashed into an underground cave, however, and found that Santa Claus was indeed real! Sneen's Holiday wish, however, was simply for the creatures Kienstrom had mutated to be brought back to normal.
Leaving the YB
Eventually, Top, Oshy and Topper left the YB. At around this time, Sneen decided to leave as well and to begin his own science... ing... at Fhar Outpost. Sneen had one final adventure with them, in which he revealed his recently-finished Project S, which was later given to Topper to use at the end (although was stolen and instead Slike F. Elion used it), and once the villains were defeated, Sneen left off for Fahr Outpost to work alone for a while.
Death and Post-Death
After leaving the YB, Sneen set up a lab at Fahr Outpost. He stayed there for around seven months, but then one day, disaster struck. While working with some dangerous chemicals, some Bob-Ombs outside exploded suddenly, knocking his lab and some items around. The first thing he noticed was a beaker that had fallen in his mouth--he then realized he had swallowed the Light/Dark Chemical, which splits the light and dark halves of anyone that ingests it. He then realized two other chemicals were slowly moving towards each other--two chemicals that, when reacted, cause an explosion. Sneen's lab was destroyed, and he disappeared.
What had happened was that Sneen had been sent to the Underwhere--as soon as he arrived, he was split into his light and dark halves. His dark half came across the Dark Prognosticus, and using this, he was able to find the Frozen Heart, an item that gave him dark, icy powers. With these two items, Dark Sneen took over the Underwhere and locked up Jaydes, Luvbi and Light Sneen. Dark Sneen then began to freeze over the Underwhere, causing a reaction to the core of Star World, which began to turn it into an icy ball; this would effectively freeze everyone on the planet to death, sending them to the Underwhere, where Dark Sneen ruled.
Once Dark Sneen had control over the Underwhere, Dimentio, who had been sent there at the end of Super Paper Mario, came to work for him. Dark Sneen didn't completely trust him, but gave Dimentio a few of his powers back. Unfortunately, the YB were mysteriously sent to the Underwhere; they challenged Dark Sneen, but Dark Sneen ran off to the Overthere, leaving the YB to face off against a Dark Piranha Plant they had defeated 2 years prior. Dark Sneen escaped to the Overthere to kidnap Grambi, and left Morton Koopa Sr., who had been sent there two years earlier, in charge of the Overthere as Dark Sneen escaped deeper in the Underwhere.
Meanwhile, Light Sneen had become depressed at what chaos Dark Sneen was causing. Luvbi learned all about Sneen's past from him, and how the girl Sneen had loved died. Luvbi informed him, however, that she would still exist in the Pokemon Underworld. Eventually, the YB began to catch up to Dark Sneen, but just before, Dark Sneen granted Dimentio access back to the living. The YB then got to Dark Sneen, and Dark Sneen began to battle them with Project S, using the Frozen Heart to power it. Before the battle could end, however, Dark Sneen suddenly fell to the ground, completely out of energy; apparently, the frozen heart that was powering Project S was a fake, and Dark Sneen realized Dimentio tricked him.
With Dark Sneen dying, Light Sneen also died, but told the YB not to worry, as it was time for him to be given peace. He disappeared, entering the Pokemon Underworld (specifically, the Ice section), and during that process his Light and Dark halves remerged. When he arrived, he finally saw her again: Leila. The two of them embraced, to happy to even say anything until they were finally able to speak, both of them saying just three words at the same time: "I love you."
Sneen went with Leila to a nearby Sneasel village, ran by a mayor Weavile named Wayvor. Soon after, Sneen and Leila were married, and had a son they named Topsel. Four months later, Top, Oshy, Topper, and a number of others showed up out of nowhere. Both they and Sneen were shocked to see each other, and Sneen was able to introduce Leila and Topsel to them. Nocktor appeared, and Sneen helped them battle Nocktor until it fled. They then said goodbye, and that was the last they ever saw of him.
