Topper is a Hitmontop from the Pokéworld, and is also Topmonhit's first Nintendo-themed character. He is depicted as being a regular Hitmontop with no abnormal appearances. Originally, when The Yoshi Bodyguards members were deciding what they were, Topmonhit decided to think outside the box and go with what his name was based on, and thus used a Hitmontop. Later, when he began comics, he switched to a Kirby, but continued using Topper (then called Top) in Hachacha. Topper is, out of Topmonhit's 3 main characters, the one with the least personality the same as him. Despite this, he likes Topper more than Top or Oshy, possibly due to Topper being more inbetween. Personality-wise, he's sometimes serious and sometimes odd, but he is generally more of a fighter than Top or Oshy.

Top Story Bio
Name: Topper

From: Secret Pokemon Village in Johto
Bio/Personality: Topper and his brother, Opt, did not have a very good past. Their parents died when they were young and were out on the streets of the village. They weren’t treated very well by the Pokemon in the village and were saw as pretty much worthless, and eventually started attacking the village and destroyed it out of anger. At the end, Topper wanted to stop but Opt continued, and they ended up fighting with Topper as the winner. However, he knew no one would accept him now, and so he fled. He later got onto a boat in disguise, but the boat was destroyed and he drifted off until he got to an island called Hachacha. There, a lot of stuff happened that didn’t make a whole lot of sense and thus aren’t a part of the current storyline. Something that IS, however, is his brother returning, but now as a cyborg. But Topper still beat him, and he hasn’t been seen since. Anyway, he later left the island for some reason and fell through a portal to the YB at Star World. And so he was there until he fell through a portal bringing him back to the Pokemon World. He later returned to the YB, then left and stayed at Hachacha until Unown destroyed it (making it the 3rd Hachacha to be destroyed). He went to Viridian Forest where he met a white Butterfree named Rening, then later left and finally returned to Star World and lived at Top's House for a while. Finally now, he went to rejoin the YB so hooray. Topper is now back in the YB after so long. Well, not now, since he, Top and Oshy left. Topper’s not really really odd and can be serious, but can be quite odd. A while ago in Top's house Topper dropped a torch on his foot and it caught on fire. When he put it out he somehow learned Blaze Kick. LIKE GASP! Then in Dr. P's YB Luigi story, he learned Spark and Whirlpool!
History
Early Life
As far as Topper can remember, he never knew his parents. He and his brother simply lived out on the streets of a secret Pokemon village in Johto. There, they were treated like dirt by all the Pokemon around them, often being looked down upon. This eventually began to get to Topper and his brother, Opt, until eventually they snapped and began to attack the Pokemon in the village, destroying things until the village was decimated.
At this point, Topper wanted to stop, but Opt wanted to continue--he liked the feeling of destroying things, of people (or Pokemon) fearing him. They ended up going into a fight, which eventually ended in Topper winning. Opt ran off, angry, but Topper realized no one would want him around now--he took part in the destruction, too. Thus, he then ran off as well, trying to get away from there, away from his previous life.
Eventually, he found a ship of sailors. He snuck on, putting on a cloak in case anyone were to recognize him. Unfortunately, during the voyage, a Tentacruel attacked the ship, destroying it. Topper eventually floated to a deserted island, where he saw the captain of the ship had floated as well--but was dead. He gave the captain a proper burial, then built a boat which he used to sail off the island.
Hachacha
Eventually, Topper came across an island with other Pokemon. This island was called Hachacha. Here, he met Max, a Raichu, and Xewtwo, a Charmander. Xewtwo eventually evolved into a Charmeleon, then showing his full rage. Topper and Max, however, ended up provoking this rage by making fun of his name. When Xewtwo evolved into a Charizard, the island saw much destruction, and eventually everyone left.
However, strangely enough, a brand-new Hachacha eventually formed. Topper and Max once again returned, but now there was a new Raichu named Hikaru Max had met since the last Hachacha. Later, Topper would realize Hikaru was a Raichu he had saw on the ship he had been on a while ago, and in fact that captain he buried was Hikaru's father. Another new Pokemon was a Combusken named Phoenix.
Time passed as insanity raged on Hachacha and many strange events occured on the island, from an evil rock to the appearance of a hypno beam. However, at some point Topper's brother, Opt, returned, now a cyborg and wanting revenge. But like before, Opt was defeated, and also like before, Opt escaped once more.
Eventually, the strangest occurance took place: A portal to another world opened up, and out came some Kirbys, including a Kirby named Top. Top and Topper quickly became friends, and soon after a Yoshi named Oshy appeared. They became friends as well, but it would not last, as Hachacha was infected with a sudden plague, causing everyone to leave. Topper fell into a random portal, sending him to the strangest place yet...
The Yoshi Bodyguards
Topper found himself at a completely new world surrounded with strange creatures. However, he came across a group that called themselves The Yoshi Bodyguards, and joined them, recalling what a Yoshi was from Oshy. There, he met a Yoshi., Power Box, Sneezier, and Mack. Mack in particular gave Topper a key, although Topper never learned what it was for as it was late, and Topper ended up staying asleep all the next day, leaving him out of the first adventure.
Sometime later, Topper suddenly found himself turned into a Silver Shroom, the communicator Mack introduced. It was revealed Missingno. was the cause of this, and they had to journey into the Minus World to fix Topper. Once he was fixed, they were attacked by Dark Matter; it escaped, and then they began getting messages from someone saying Missingno. and Dark Matter were working together. It eventually turned out to be Sandbag, and Topper went with Sandbag to confront them. Unfortunately, it turned out Sandbag was evil and Dark Matter and Missingno. were working for him! Topper was possessed by Dark Matter, but when the rest of the YB came along they were able to save Topper and they escaped Sandbag's castle.
They weren't out of the frying pan yet, though, as they found themselves at yet another evil castle--the castle of Cackletta, Fawful and Gruntilda Winkybunion, who were now working together and had kidnapped Mario, Luigi, Banjo and Kazooie. The YB were able to rescue them, however, and destroyed the Witchy Fury Trio's castle. Soon after, Topper fell into a random portal that brought him back to his own planet, where he returned to Hachacha and stayed around for a while.
Boredom
Topper hung around Hachacha (meeting a Sneasel named Sneen whom he would encounter again later) until it was destroyed by a natural disaster. Or an unnatural one. He then found himself at Viridian Forest, where he met a white Butterfree named Rening. Rening was the descendant of an ancient Butterfree that had once saved the world, where Topper learned when he had to save the world once more from a demon Haunter named Nocktor. He later left the planet, returned to Star World, and lived in Top's House for a while. During this time, Mack came to Topper, sending him on the journey that began when they first met, eventually allowing him to use that key and get Yoshi a mushroom that allowed him to speak english. Also while at Top's House, Topper dropped a random torch on his foot, and he somehow learned Blaze Kick. Anyway, he eventually decided to return to the YB, learning Sneen had joined a while ago, during a time that happened to be when Top wasn't around due to Dark Top being in control at the time. Soon after though Dark Top was defeated and Topper was back in the YB.
Topmonhit Story
Leaving the YB and the Priory of Eidolon
Once Topper was back with the YB, he helped them on several missions, but soon after left because he disliked how it was organized. He, Oshy and Top went to live at Top's house, but soon after a group of villains attempted to take over Star World. Topper and the others escaped, heading to the Pokeworld to hide out until they could return to save Star World from the villains. Soon after, while visiting the YB one night, he, Oshy, Top and some YBs were sent on a journey with Luigi. During this journey, Topper somehow gained some power over electricity and water, learning Spark and Whirlpool. However, unlike Dr. Pikachu, Topper decided against joining the Priory of Eidolon, mainly due to having just left another organization.
Orbs and Robots
The following Spring, Topper, Oshy and Top were once again called to action when a series of events occured that all involved some strange orbs. The 4th and final event involved some anti-forms of Topper, Oshy and Top, the Anti-Topper (aka A-TPR) being a robot of him; from his earlier fights with his cyborg brother, Topper gained a dislike of robots, causing him to dislike A-TPR quite a lot.
Early in the summer, Star World began to freeze over. The source of the freezing was found in the Underwhere; Sneen, who had left a while ago, had died, and his dark side had gotten free and was freezing over the Underwhere. They eventually were able to stop him, but killed Sneen in the process.
Over the rest of the summer, more orbs were found, until a total of 4 orbs were gotten--the Anti-forms had 2 of them. When the final fight against the Anti-forms began, they were destroyed, giving them 6 orbs. A 7th was found soon after, and it turned out they were from a planet far, far away Top had once been to. The orbs were brought back to that planet, and people stopped caring.
Things Continue On
In the fall, Topper recieved a call from Rening about a growing evil he was sensing, so they headed off to the Pokeworld, only to learn that it was Nocktor once again, having absorbed the power of Giratina, Dialga and Palkia. They chased him through both time and dimensions, eventually coming across a dimension of deceased Ice types. They saw Sneen once again, where they learned he was happy now and with a Sneasel named Leila he once knew a long, long time ago. Topper was jealous, though--he had been wanting to find someone himself. There was no time to brood, however, as they continued chasing Nocktor until he was finally defeated with the help of some strange people from another dimension.
Later, in the Winter, Top became the ruler of a kingdom on Shiver Star. Topper went with him to help, but eventually the kingdom was invaded and they had to escape with a diamond of immense power. Topper entered the new year with a bad feeling of things to come...
Discrepancies
The Yoshi Bodyguards
Various stories in the YB are now defunk, including one where Topper was turned into a Polygon by Master Hand. The main descrepancy, however, involves Top, in that originally Topper had been mutated into a Kirby simply so that Topmonhit could have a character in his comics, as the only known sprites of Hitmontop at the time were horrible.
Hachacha
Hachacha was filled with discrepancies. One of the two biggest ones involves death--Topper died multiple times, mostly a cause of Max, and in each time he would come back to life. One of those times had him come back to life as an Octillery, but this is now non-canon. Instead, Octbert has taken that role of an Octillery. The other biggest discrepancy involves Hikaru, in which the original story had him in love with her. This is now non-canon as well, but unlike Top and Chibi, Topper is still friends with Hikaru.
Other discrepancies involve Top, Oshy and Topper all being "forms" of each other from other planets--this idea is defunk. Also gone from the stories are the vacation to Japan the characters of Hachacha did; the nonsensical problems of this prevent it from staying in the canon storyline.
