Connecticut Valley Region BBYO spans Connecticut and South Western Massachussetts. A region of just over 300 members, CVR has been a stable and consistant region for many, many years.

Regional Events

These are overnights, dances, and conventions open to the entire region. They are opportunities for members to learn, develop, see their friends from around the region, and have an all out amazing time.

  • B'Yachad (Regional Leadership Training Institute, a convention occuring in late August)
  • Kickoff Dance (a Dance to open the programming year the first weekend in September)
  • Spirit Slamdown!! (an overnight combining Sports, Spirit, Brotherhood, and Sisterhood, usually occurs in mid-October)
  • Fall Convention (a convention occuring in early December)
  • Kallah (Regional Judiac Insitute, a convention occuring superbowl weekend)
  • AZAA (Regional AZA Basketball tournament pitting chapter against chapter, beginning a few weeks after Kallah and going for 5 weeks, happens sunday nights at the Regional Office)
  • Beau Sweetheart (a Dance where the Regional Beau and Regional Sweetheart are elected, occuring in early April)
  • Spring Convention (a convention happening in mid-May to elect the next year's regional boards)
