The Aleph Zadik Aleph (AZA) uses this Hebrew word to mean president. The Godol is the head board member on an executive board, whether that be on the chapter, council, regional, or international level.

Grand Aleph Godol

The international Godol is called the Grand Aleph Godol (GAG). He represents the Order of the Aleph Zadik Aleph at the highest level. Due to the amount of traveling done by the GAG, as well as the time and dedication needed to be put into his work, the positon of Grand Aleph Godol is almost always reserved for an Aleph who has graduated high school and will be taking a year off of college.
