The chapter easily established traditions. In December, Nava elected its first executive board, which consisted of Lindsay Smith as N'siah, Jennifer Ahdoot as S'ganit, Kimmie Garber as Mit Mom, and Cari Romm as Mazkirah/Gizborit. Within 5 months, twenty girls were registered. At 6 months, Nava received its charter and number from BBYO International.
