The Chevrolet El Camino (Spanish for The Camino) was a coupe utility manufactured by Chevrolet between 1959 and 1961.
First Generation
In 1957, Ford introduced the Ranchero with great success. Being Chevrolet, they decided to cash in on the new market. The first El Camino was sold in 1959.
