Mississlippy is a website founded in 2002 by "Matt" and co-founded by Liliaku The site began on Expage, and was moved to Freewebs. Mississlippy is in no way related to Mississippi.

History
Beginnings
Mississlippy began in late 2002 as a small page on Expage. The website focused on humor and jokes. Shortly after, Mississlippy launched into groups.msn.com with the help of a friend. While on Expage, Mississlippy started such features as, the chat room, links page, jokes page, and games page.
New Home. New Features.
In 2004, Mississlippy moved operations to Freewebs.com. Also in 2004, the Mississlippy Archive was created. Its purpose is to show viewers what Mississlippy was doing at a specific time. It contains content dating back to July 2003.
In 2006, Mississlippy started a yearly tradition. Each year, they create a list of movies that are expected to be released that year. Although, some movies that are listed get pushed back to a different year.
2007
2007 was a mixed year for the site. Early in the year, they found out that Expage.com would be shutting down. Later in the year, they learned that their groups.msn.com page has been shut down by Microsoft due to inactivity.
However, Mississlippy Media Inc. was launched on the internet in 2007. Mississlippy Media Inc. is the video production team that produced the series, "Idiots".
Also, the first new joke in three years was added to the site.
2008
In Early 2008, the Joke Index was created to make it easier to locate a specific joke. Also, the home page background was changed from the clouds to a solid blue.
On April 1, 2007, WikiSlippy was launched. Also, it was announced that TechNGames would be the official message boards of Mississlippy.
