[edit] RRLBN

In the early 2000s, S.R. Guy and Some Person began recording short videos known as The Really Really Low Budget News. They managed to make almost 30 episodes before everyone quit.

[edit] Mississlippy

In 2005, S.R. Guy was "hired" by Mississlippy International as a third employee. Guy was in charge of testing all Misssisslippy products to make sure they were working properly.

[edit] Low Budget Movie

In 2006, Guy was showing his crappy RRLBN to the rest of the employees when he suggested starting a new venture that makes videos. The head of Mississlippy agreed to help Guy with a new video production. However, Mississlippy only gave Guy a very small amount of money to make the project. So they were forced to make the project with a low budget. That created the title, The Low Budget Movie.

[edit] Mississlippy Media

Before the Low Budget Movie was to be finished, Mississlippy wanted a name for the production company. Guy originally proposed his semi-already-existing Low Budget Media. However, Mississlippy did not like the name and instead created Mississlippy Media without Guy's approval. This caused tension between Guy and Mississlippy which resulted in Guy continuing to use his Low Budget Media. This made Guy to decide to fund the movie himself.

In 2007, a deal was made that would see Low Budget Media be the developer and Mississlippy Media to be the publisher. However, the movie proved to be a failure.

[edit] Low Budget TV

After the failure of the movie, Guy began producing a new short called Low Budget Television in mid 2007. Mississlippy again became interested so Guy let them be the distributor again. However, only five episodes were made and were never released by request from S.R. Guy. During the creation of LBTV, Some Guy thought of an actual television channel called Low Budget Television and even made commercials for it in LBTV. However, nothing further has been announced.

[edit] 2008

Guy reviled in 2008 that Mississlippy is pushing really hard for a second Low Budget Movie to be made. Guy also said that he may be leaving Low Budget Media. In July, Guy announced that The Low Budget Movie II has been canceled.

In August, Guy announced that he left Low Budget Media and joined Mississlippy Media and that Mississlippy Media had bought the rights to the RRLBN and are working on a new project. In September, Mississlippy also bought Low Budget Media and merged it with Mississlippy Media.

[edit] Today

Some Guy is currently employed as head of Mississlippy Media and is currently working on new projects. Although, Mississlippy Media no longer has any video equipment as the company sold the equipment for rent money in 2020.
