On the TSFP challenge Electro Chimp Discomatic, the monkeys run down to the dance floor and take up a certain position in a random order. However, sometimes the placements of earlier monkeys stop the later monkeys from getting to their place, so they run into the other monkey and keep trying to run. This doesn't seem to last forever, the monkey may eventually get past, but it is useful and means there are less monkeys to charge up because the blocked off monkey cannot start dancing.

post = Actually, I did understand that explanation after spending some time testing out the instructions myself.

It simply goes like: Put the first tile you want to merge on the 5th floor, put the second tile on the 4th and put a dummy tile (like 3x1 tile) on the 3rd. Put a story AI on the tile on the 5th floor and select all three tiles. Grab the dummy tile and move it up to the 5th floor, pushing the merging tiles up into the 6th and 7th floors. De-select all three tiles and grab the dummy tile, then move it to the 4th floor. Go into Story Logic and make the Story AI in the 7th floor appear, then move a floor down to the second tile. Select the tile on the 6th floor and select the dummy tile, then grab the dummy tile and push it up one floor. Then go into Story Logic, make the Story AI appear and Drag Select the merged tiles, then move dwn and select the dummy tile, then move the dummy tile onto the 1st floor, just to be safe.

If that's not a simple enough explanation of how to do that glitch, I don't know what is. O_o
post = Happy New Year! I was wondering if anyone understood this part in the mapmaker glitches page. Thanks!
1.1 Select the two tiles you want to merge. Put one of them on the fifth floor, and the other one below it, on the fourth. If they are two stories in height, place the bottom floor of the top one in the fifth. Next, grab the tile that you used to move the two Story AIs up and move it down to the third floor. Mark the three tiles: the two you wish to merge and the third one below them. Grab the one at the bottom and move it into the fifth floor. After you release it, move it back down to the fourth floor. Now, open up your Story AIs. Find the one that is in the sixth floor and select "Show in Map." You will see the bottom of the two tiles that you moved above the fifth floor. Mark it, then move down two floors to find the tile you left there, and mark it as well. Then move it up one floor so that the two tiles are now merged in the seventh floor. Jump to the Story AI in the seventh floor and you will find them. In order to move them back down into the level, highlight them by dragging a selection box, then move down to the fifth floor and mark the tile you have there, grab it, and move it down two stories. You now have two merged tiles in the fifth floor. If you want to move or delete them, you have to highlight them by dragging a selection box. Simply grabbing them or marking them does not work.
Personally, I think the easiest course would be to round up the various TS FAQs out there, find which one we like best, and ask permission to use it. Chances are, they won't say no. I'm all for the video method though if we can actually find them for most of the challenges.
post = The strategy is the only non factual part of the page then. But the lack of it needs to be alerted as going on the game doesn't mean you can get a strategy, you have to play to find one, and a good one. As for not being bothered. I'd be bothered if I went on it to write a strategy, but that would be using time, and I'd need to have the internet (unless a type it offline) and be using a PS2. Which using both things isn't fair on my other three brothers as we have one cable and two PS2s.

But anyway, there might be videos of records online. I advise someone watching them and typing up their strategy seeming it is the best. Plus it's not in their words, it's just their strategy.
post = I disagree. While strategies may be opinion, the strats that allow for fastest times are generally regarded as being the best ways to beat a challenge. If someone has an alternate strategy, they should feel free to add it. I don't consider it a bad bias to recommend the best strategies for beating a challenge. As a gaming wiki, in fact, we should demand nothing less.

As for strats being unimportant, I'll have to outright disagree there. While level information is nice, chances are when someone is looking at a challenge or story page, they are looking for a strategy, not the level's briefing. All other details, like the briefing, arsenal, and objectives are helpful, but the strategy should be centric to the page.

The only reason most of our pages do not have strategies is because no one seems to want to put in the effort to write them (myself included). SuperNova gave us permission to use anything from his TS2 FAQ, provided we credit him for it. I think that since no one seems to want to write strats, we should start using these, and seek permission to use strats from TS1 and TSFP as well.
The PAGENAME mission involves controlling Nikolai who gets trapped in a room in Oblask Dam and gets attacked by zombies. There are no weapons in this challenge except for your Fists.

Strategy
This challenge's objective is the same as the other Behead The Undead challenges: kill zombies with headshots and retain your health each round for points. The only difference this time is that you're unarmed, with only your fists to fend off the oncoming waves of the undead. The strategy here is to simply run forward and hit the zombies in the face one at a time. This will work for a couple of rounds. Eventually, faster zombies will attack and this will make this strategy less effective. Circling around the zombies while punching them works well. Make sure not to get cornered! Also, try running forward when the zombies are all grouped together and quickly back off when they try to strike you. They will end up hitting each other and killing fellow zombies by knocking each other's heads off.

If a player shooting the Minigun gets killed, the shooting sound may continue after the player's death. The Minigun sound will get stuck in the specific spot where the player with the Minigun died, so the closer you are to that spot, the louder the shooting sound is.
If a player charging the Lasergun gets killed, the charging sound may continue after the player's death. The Lasergun sound will get stuck in the specific spot where the player with the Lasergun died, so the closer you are to that spot, the louder the charging sound is. The only way to turn off the sound is to end the match.
A similar glitch happens with the Minigun.

PAGENAME is a Challenge Mode level in 2. Sergio faces off against a never-ending horde of zombies. The goal is to get as many points as you can by shooting off heads and arms without dying.

Strategy
This challenge can be quite difficult. The only weapon available is the Tactical 12-Gauge. The best strategy here is to circle around the room without going out of bounds and use the secondary firing function of the 12-Gauge that fires 2 rounds of the shotgun. This will usually kill the zombies in one shot. After a few rounds, some of the spawning zombies will be on fire. Avoid being caught by the flame. If you do catch fire, you can use the Fire Extinguisher behind the poles to put yourself out. Just continue to circle the room without letting any zombies get behind you or corner you. If you run out of ammo, Shotgun ammo respawns every round in the middle of the room. Try to avoid getting hurt during the rounds because you will receive extra points for being uninjured.

}}

PAGENAME is a TimeSplitters: Future Perfect Challenge. It works just like the 1 Story levels. Mr. Underwood has to run through the Hotel to pick up a Gentlemen's Magazine and then return back up the final staircase to the portal.

Briefing
It's been conniptions and collywobbles all around since Mr Underwood misplaced some important 'artistic' documents. All is not lost though, by dual wielding his trusty pistols (that's double guns to us ordinary folk) it shouldn't take too long to recover his Victorian Gentleman's magazines and make a mad dash for the time portal.

Strategy
The easiest method of obtaining a Platinum on this level isn't shooting the Zombies in the head with your Kruger 9mm, the easiest method is to gun-whip them.

Run into the enemies and gunwhip their heads off, if you keep missing, they'll eventually die because it hurts more than shooting, but most of the time you'll knock their heads off.

Also, either gunwhip the zombies on fire as you'll only lose a bit of health, but you'll barely lose any in the long run, or you can let them burn to death, and just forget about them. Most of the flame zombies appear behind you so let them die while you concentrate on gunwhipping the flame zombies ahead, that is if they don't burn before you get to them.

As with the Story classics on TSFP, unlike the 1 Story levels, you have to kill all the zombies before proceeding to further areas. But, you can just run through them if you gunwhip them losing almost no time, but don't run ahead without killing them all.

Once the door is open in the big hall for you to exit the Hotel to the outside, as soon as you've picked up the Gentlemen's Magazine, run back, up the stairs, across the hall dodging and shooting (or gunwhipping) the Berserkers, run back up the halls and straight ahead to the portal.

Health isn't that much of a worry if you follow this strategy. The health you do lose will be mostly from Berserker bolts and Flamed Zombies and the few zombies hitting you. This strategy should secure a Platinum if done correctly, and maybe after a few attempts.

Briefing
Those Russian soldiers aren't that bright! Today's military training involves breaking all the glass in the Siberian compound. Nikolai managed this in one minute flat. Beat his time or you'll be the laughing stock of the barracks for weeks!

Strategy
As you start, go forward and look towards the building to the north (has six windows, three on the top floor and three on the ground floor). Now as you run towards the stairs fire a grenade at the top of the building so it drops down and takes out all six windows. Take a left and go round the corner and pop a grenade into the building just here. Go ahead to another building ahead of you and fire a grenade into here also. Now go back and take the path that is in between the two buildings. Fire a grenade into that two story building that is now to the north east of you. You must fire it onto the top floor at the far right corner, and if done correctly will take out the one in the door and the three windows in the floor below. Then just walk on ahead and fire one through the door of the building ahead of you to the left. Voila! Done. If not all the windows are smashed, simply restart and do it again. This definitely works, and you can get gold easily and platinum is also very possible.

PAGENAME is a 1 Challenge. It involves allowing The Impersonator to seem the best shooter and not die.

Briefing
Now the King want to show off! Your team must win with 25 kills and the King must not die. Do not personally score more than 3 or else the King's feelings will be hurt. You have 1 min 15 secs.

Strategy
In order to win this, you need to get the target, but kill no more than three people. Mostly, it's about your luck with The Impersonator, but you can help.

If people are shooting at the Impersonator, stand in front of them and let them kill you, The Impersonator will shoot them. Try to block them in their base, it gives the Impersonator more of a chance to kill them, and you'll be blocking them from shooting the Impersonator. You can kill a few, make sure they're the ones you think are more likely to kill the Impersonator. You're allowed to kill three, anymore and you lose so make sure you do kill three as this will make things easier.

PAGENAME is a 1 Challenge. It involves shooting the heads off Zombies in Mansion.

Briefing
As the sun goes down, the ghouls come out. Make your last stand in the mansion front hall. Who knows, if you score 10000 points you might survive to see the dawn.

Strategy
Keep in mind this strategy doesn't help much. Start at the bottom and use your radar to see where the closest zombies are and shoot them. Easy, right?

The first few are simple, however, they'll be more zombies later. Start off normally, and when there are too much escape to the top. Look left and right down the corridors and shoot the zombies at top and and zombies that have managed their way up the stairs. Most won't, and that's what makes this strategy work. If you stand at central top, after all the zombies have spawned, look through the banisters and shoot the zombie's heads off from up top, they'll just be walking round in circles down below. When you've killed all the ones easy to shoot. Run down and kill the last few if there are still more. Pick up the guns and get ready for the next wave.

This strategy only got the writer a small victory after several attempts. Hope you're better?

Briefing
Shooting zombies is just too easy! Let's see if you can knock 30 heads off in one minute only your bare knuckles.

Strategy
It is suggested you stand back, and then run into them punching. The amount of deaths you get doesn't matter in this mission.
