Gail Simone was the first person to compile a official list of victimized women in comic books. Somehow, this got her a job at DC. She had an awesome run on Birds of Prey where she really made Black Canary cool, as well as created The Secret Six, making Catman of all freakin' people awesome. Secret Six is now so popular it was made an ongoing. Simone also wrote the low selling, but much loved, All New Atom, which spiraled into cancellation after she left.

She is now rocking Wonder Woman as the first ongoing female writer of the title. Her run is making Wondy awesome again.

She is a fan of Casstoons as well.

Most of the Cass Cult like her, but ChthonicSpirit and Elias A don't. She once posted on Nevermore's blog to say one of her entries was good, which made Nev very happy.
