Comics from Japan. Unlike American comics, which are overwhelmingly dominated by superhero books, manga covers a much wider variety of genres ranging from action to romance to sports to porn. This wider variety of genres has made them quite popular internationally. Like their animated counterpart, anime, there is endless debate about how much they may or may not suck compared to American comics.

Manga is the primary source for anime ideas.

Manga is also one of the few forms of comics known to be bought by girls in America. It is estimated that the ratio of manga fangirls to comic fangirls is at least 80 to 1.

It should also be noted that most manga, in the style of the Japanese books, are read from right to left instead of the way the Christian God intended. What is up with Fucking Foreigners?
