Comics are books or strips that consists of both pictures and dialogue.
The most well known version of comics is the Superheroes genre, although they now also cover a wide range of other types of stories, including Noir, the Supernatural, and Westerns (Don't laugh, they're making a surprising comeback lately in comics).
To be quite honest, Superheroes are to Comics what the Harlequin Romance series is to regular books.
