The second [[Robin]], Batman gave him the job when he found Jason stealing the Batmobile's tires. Unpopular with the readers, they voted to have [[the Joker]] to beat him to death with a crowbar and then blow him up. The vote was actually pretty close, but supposedly a reader in New York voted for Jason to die a few hundred times. Which is sad, because you had to pay to vote. He recently made the unpopular decision to resurrect himself and he now spends his time decapitating gangsters and trying to gain control of Gotham City's drug trade. Because he thinks that Batman is too soft to fight crime in Gotham. Jason said this because he's a dick.

It was once said that the only comic book characters with the decency to not come back to life were [[Bucky]] and Jason Todd. As you can tell, publishers like to ruin all sayings.

It is to be noted that [[Uncle Ben]] has yet to come back.
