The DC Animated Universe. The collective term for a series of shows produced and directed by [[Bruce Timm]] and [[Paul Dini]], as an animated counterpart to the DC comic universe. The shows of this universe are all semi-connected by a [[continuity]] that makes more sense than their comic counterparts.

The DCAU has lasted for over 15 years, however it is set to end along with the final episode of [[Justice League Unlimited]].
