		+	Many of us find the existing window and desktop management systems lacking in some way. Some are very heavy and bloated and some are very minimalistic and too lean. The goal is to find a good middle ground with some good basic defaults but with customization and extensibility built into the basic design. 	Basically just code reuse. You are already meta programming on a low level if you use more than one tool for a given task. It is the kind of problem that is best done by a community with no profit motives. Not to say that some of the parts couldn't provide a revenue stream, but it requires bringing many different preexisting tools, utilities, suites and other components together in a manner that can only be done in an open environment without the licensing issues of a corporate project of similar scope.
