Chapter One

Gakdij Montage was the head sysop of Mariowiki, and proud of it too. He had recently been elected in favor of that little twerp cousin of his, Porple Montage, if only by a hair. Gakdij smiled and looked out his window, where he saw the trolls doing heavy labor in the pouring rain. Those were his rules: if you spammed, you were chained up and put to work in the head sysop’s fields, rain or shine. Recently, since he had needed more workers, he had rounded up some innocent people: Mostly yoshis, some Werewaffles, and a snifit or two. As Gakdij sat back in his seat, he heard a rustling noise behind him. “Eh…?” As he turned around, he saw a young girl wearing black. “Ah, hello,” said Gakdij. The girl smiled an eerie smile but said nothing. “Um… who are you?” The girl stepped forward and smiled. “Well, hello, mister Gakdij. Tell me, what do you think of trolls?” “None of your concern,” snapped Gakdij. “But if you must know, I despise them.” The girl smiled and walked forward. As ligjhtning flashed, her face appeared to be a skull for a moment. Then she raised her hand, there was a flashing light, and for what seemed to be an eternity, Gakdij saw, floating there in the sudden blackness, a doll. It was a clown doll, and bald, with a big red nose. But it had an inhuman grin, and it stared at him horribly, until it spoke: “Bye, bye, now!” And then Gakdij fell, screaming, into the light…
