Fairlop Waters: Yellow-browed Warbler behind NR pit by golf driving range briefly at 11:10hrs (Roy Woodward, Martin Shepherd). Also 5 Stonechats and c20 Redpolls, 50 Fieldfare, 80 Redwing + small numbers of Skylark, Chaffinch and M'ipit overhead (most heading west), plus Red-crested Pochard on main lake (RW, MS, Andy Reed, Adrian Pearson, Dennis Ellisdon).
Richmond Park (organised walk): Dartford Warbler - Pond Slade (different area to yesterday's birds, also yesterday 1-2 birds in gorse enclosures by Holly Lodge, i.e. possibly up to 5 birds seen in two days), Snipe - briefly, casual obs of overhead migrants noted c320 Fieldfare W/SW, 20 Skylark SW (J.Wilczur et al).

Richmond Park: 3 Dartford Warblers in bracken surrounding grassland c300m S of Pen Ponds car park (J.Wilczur).
Paddington Green: m Peregrine in area (feeding on a kill) between 12:10hrs at 14:36hrs; back in the area 15:45hrs (Des McKenzie).
London Wetland Centre: 2 Mealy Redpoll with c20 Lesser Redpoll in Asian Wetlands area - feeding in silver birches +6 Lessers SW; also m Peregrine, 489 Woodpigeon S/SW, 1 Swallow south, 11 ' Alba' Wagtails SW, light passage of Meadow Pipit, Rock Pipit, Water Pipit high SW, 4 Stonechat, light passage of Goldfinch, 44 Chaffinches W/NW, 1 Brambling west, 19 Siskin on site + 8 SW; also 2 Water Vole, several Common Darter and Migrant Hawker, small numbers of Common Lizard still basking on Dulverton Hide especially (NPS/LWC website).
Crossness: Grey Plover on the River Thames by the Thamesview Golf Centre at c.TQ481814 this a.m. (Birdguides).

Rotherhite: still 1 Egyptian Goose in channel between Greenland and South Docks 07:25hrs (Birdguides).

Rotherhithe: 5 Egyptian Geese (2 adults & 3 juveniles) on Greenland Dock 5.40pm at least. 1st winter Yellow-legged Gull on the jetty there 1.15pm (Richard Bonser).
Middlesex Filter Beds: at least 1 Firecrest with Goldcrests at TQ358864; turn right after entering from northern gate, on canal near Lea Bridge Road and birds are in the scrub to the left after 50m (Birdguides).

Alexandra Park: Honey-buzzard south of Alexandra Palace flew SW 18:13hrs, another probable dark phase headed east 17.52 and a Common Buzzard seen east at 17.32. Also Sakar/Lanner hybrid over the palace. This is my 104th species seen in & from the park and the 113th for APOG matching the best ever total of 2007 (John Murray & Bob Watts). Early Am Chiffchaff showing signs of Abietinus (Scandanavian) in the scrub (B.Watts, J.Murray, A.Gardner).

Rainham Marshes: Garganey, juv Marsh Harrier, 7 Little Egret, 13 Grey Heron, 2 Greenshank, 2 Green Sandpiper, 2 Common Sandpiper, 11 Whinchat, 9 Stonechat, 6 Chiffchaff, 3 Willow Warbler, 32 Long-tailed Tit, 39 Greenfinch, 42 Goldfinch, 21 Siskin, 67 Linnet, 4 Reed Bunting (ELBF).
Richmond Park: Honey Buzzard over the northwest corner at 10:15, departed SW at 10.45 (Birdguides).
Wormwood Scrubs: Honey Buzzard over southwest being escorted by c120 crows at 8.50am. It was a dark morph flying low over rooftops with languid wingbeats. When it glided its wings were gently bowed. Had kite-like jizz, not as bulky as Common Buzzard and seemed to have a narrow head; also 2 Whinchat, c8 Whitethroat & c30 Meadow Pipits (David Lindo).
Alexandra Park: Tree Pipit flew from scrub to perimeter and then landed again in grassland to west at 0705 before being flushed from perimeter at 0830. Lanner/Saker type hybrid around Palace building for 20 minutes 0725-0745. (Bob Watts, Andrew Gardener). Wheatear on and around cricket pavilion to 0910 at least (Andrew Gardener, Gareth Richards) Lanner/Saker again c.0830 (Stuart Harrington).

Staines Reservoirs: Great Skua on south basin then flew west at 15:50; also drake Common Scoter on north basin late afternoon and 5 Black Terns (Birdguides).
Rainham Marshes RSPB: Great White Egret flew southeast, across River Thames at 10:20 but no sign of the Aquatic Warbler (Birdguides).
Beech Farm GPs: Osprey over Beech Farm at 07:45 heading towards St. Albans (Birdguides).
Rotherhithe: 32 Black Terns came in from the east over River Thames, then circled at mouth of Greenland Dock 6.53-6.57pm before heading high south. My 1st record for the site (Richard Bonser).
Crossness: 3 Black Terns still off outfall by the Thamesview Golf Centre this morning; also a Knot (Birdguides).
East India Dock (2 visits - a.m. & p.m.): 5 Black Terns with many commic terns distantly off West Silvertown until 15:30, plus 9 Common Terns, Common Sandpiper, 4 Yellow-legged Gulls, 2 Reed Warblers (in copse), Sparrowhawk, 17 Teal (David Callahan).
Belvedere: 1st-winter Mediterranean Gull at outfall; also 2 Wheatears (Birdguides).
Alexandra Park: 3 Yellow Wagtails, c5 Meadow Pipits, Whinchat, at least 4 Spotted Flycatchers, 25 Siskin (Bob Watts, Andrew Gardener, Dominic Mitchell, John Murray).
