This is a second-generation home located on the land claim of William Stevens, whose house still stands nearby. Its roof shapes were typical of modified Gothic Revival Style houses. The exceptional brickwork of hearts and diamonds motifs in the main chimney, seen in one picture and in the Campbell House, suggests the work of Reverend Charles Hamilton Wallace.
