<p><b>New page</b></p><div>PENCE, Joseph F., Albany (Oregon) Democrat-Herald, Thursday, [[November 12]] [[1936]], p. 1 [[Harrisburg]], Nov. 12 (Special) J. P. Pence,<br />
78, many years a farmer of the Harrisburg community, died at his<br />
home northeast of here Wednesday night after a short illness. Mr.<br />
Pence was born at Newcastle, Pa., on [[June 4]], [[1858]]. He married<br />
Nancy Boburn in 1893 in Pennsylvania.<br />

He is survived by the widow and three children, William and Elwin<br />
of Harrisburg and Kenneth of Nebraska. Funeral services will be<br />
held at the Miller chapel in Harrisburg Friday afternoon at 2<br />
o'clock. Interment will be in the Alford cemetery.<br />
