- Seventy Acres Lake (Cheshunt): 1s fem Red-footed Falcon present all day with up to 10 Hobbys at times, viewed from Bittern Watch Point (Birdguides), the other side of the lake is best for views from late morning (RBA), several Nightingales at power station, 3 Cetti's Warblers, several Garden Warblers, 3 Cuckoos, 50+ Swift, 3 Swallows, Com Sand, Redshank (David Callahan). Greenshank also reported flying over lake.
- Rainham Marshes RSPB: 4 Temminck's Stint at Purfleet Scrape this p.m, 2+ Grey Plover, 3 Knot, 2 Sanderling, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit (Birdguides). Hobby, Wood Sandpiper, Little Stint, pair of Garganey.(Paul Hawkins)
- London Wetland Centre: 1 Sanderling on shingle ridge off headley hide, best viewed from dulverton hide/observatory, 1 Common Sand, 1 Ringed Plover, c 4 Lapwing chicks (JPPW, DMonk), at least 7pr Common Tern now settled on tern rafts, 100+ Swift, 'good numbers' of House Martin (LWC website).

- Rainham Marshes RSPB: still 2 Temminck's Stint on Purfleet Scrape (viewable from visitors centre), m Garganey, Hobby, 6 Grey Plover, Greenshank (Birdguides).
- London Wetland Centre: Caspian Gull 1st-year (JW).
- Southgate: Bee-eater over High Street at 10:20hrs - reported as 'heard only' (Birdguides).

- Staines Res: Dunlin, at least 14 Turnstone scattered around the basins (12 on north, 2 on south), Common Sandpiper - very small unidentified wader on west side of North Basin loosley associating with Turnstones: smaller than Turnstone with very short black legs, medium length straight bill, dark back, white breast with very clear distinction between the two; no white shoulder like Common Sandpier; movements unlike Turnstone, quick pitter-patter walking action faster than Turnstone - 100's of Swift present (SurreyBirders) In the evening, drake Ferruginous Duck N basin (assumed to be the resident E Berks escape), two Hobbies (knocked a Swift into the S basin, then fished it out and carried it off), two Oystercatchers through, Dunlin, two Common Sandpipers, 13 Turnstones, two 1/s Little Gulls, 2/s Yellow-legged Gull, Little Tern N basin 1845-1930hrs at least (Rob Innes, Ken Purdey).

- Dagenham Chase LNR: Red Kite between 1.55-2.03pm eventually drifting towards the Chadwell Heath area also 1 Peregrine Falcon, 1 Hobby, 1+ Common Tern, 1 Common Gull and 3 Gadwall (Vince Halley-Frame).
- Rainham Marshes RSPB: 3 Temminck's Stint still at Purfleet Scrape this morning (Birdguides), at least 2 still present at 13:00hrs plus 2 Little Egret, at least 3 Hobby, 2 Avocet, 2 Little Ringed Plover, 10+ Ringed Plover, 2 Little Stint (both together on Purfleet Scrape before flying off with Ringed Plover), Greenshank, 2 Wood Sandpiper (3 on site), Common Sandpiper (Aveley Bay) - no sign of putative 'Spanish' Wagtail (Des McKenzie).

- London Wetland Centre: 3 Common Buzzard south (0840, 1100, 1105) then 1 SW at 1415, Marsh Harrier circling river high, 1 Hobby, 1 Peregrine x Saker hybrid, 4 Lesser Whitethroat, 80 Swift, trickle of Linnet and Swallow north, unconfirmed report of Hoopoe by visitor in wildside @ c1300 seen briefly perched in scrub behind dragonfly pond - no further sign or reports since (Dan Monk), 2 Sparrowhawk, m Kestrel, many Swift, several Sedge and Reed Warbler, 2 Garden Warbler, plentiful Blackcap - at least four Water Vole along Waterlife, first Orange Tip of the year (LWC website).

- Hounslow: ringtail harrier following the River Crane in north Feltham before heading towards Hounslow Heath at 14:20hrs (Birdguides).

- Lee Valley (Holyfield Viewpoint): Red-rumped Swallow at 10.45 flew east, 100+ Swifts over Holyfield Lake (Mike Oakland).
- Richmond Park: 2 Ring Ouzel still in Holly Lodge paddocks (SBC).
- Queen Elizabeth II Res: Peregrine (SBC).
