Is it worth forcing people to register and log in to make changes?

It would be a pain, but seems like it has become necessary with all the little kids on the net these days.

== Screen width guidelines ==

Are we shooting for any specific screen width for view-ability reasons? Pages like the [[Gold Mine]] run into bad formatting business if the viewing window is thinner than 1000 pixels or so. This seems to be a problem mainly because the Prerequisites template runs into the window content, and they overlap ungracefully. Do we care? If there was a minimum width left for the content that the template wouldn't encroach upon (say 460-480 pixels?) this might help, but my kung-fu is not strong in this department. --[[User:Headphones|Headphones]] 15:24, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

A laboratory is required to [[W2/Research Costs|research]] new technologies. These technologies are required to construct (or unlock) certain troops or your ship.

Researching spear will allow you to produce [[W2/Spearfighter|spearmen]] (if you have a [[W2/Barracks|barracks]] capable of constructing spearmen).

Researching bow will allow you to produce [[W2/Archer|archers]] (if you have a barracks capable of constructing archers).

Stones are an important resource for construction. The more the mine is expanded, the more stones can be cut and delivered.

As an approximate rule of thumb, each upgrade will give you a further 20% ontop of what you are already producing

Stone is one of the highest used valuables in the game and it pays to keep it 1-2 levels ahead of the other mines. Principally because it starts off producing less than the other valuables, so is always producing less per level.
