NATIONAL SCIENCE FOUNDATION (NSF), MINORITY POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS

Targeted Fields Health Sciences. Life Sciences. Social Sciences. School of Public Health.

Open To Postdoctoral Scholars.

Open only to U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Eligibility Requirements Must have doctoral degree awarded before the tenure of the award or have received the PhD within the past four years. Preference given to minorities.

Award provides a stipend of $45,000 per year consisting of three separate types of payments. Monthly stipend of $3,750 to fellow. A research allowance of $10,000 per year. An institutional allowance of $5,000 per year.

Program Description Approximately 25 fellowships will be awarded to support minority postdoctoral research in science and engineering for up to 24 months. Award may be renewed for an additional 12 months.
