Plankton are useful indicators of high nutrient conditions due to their propensity to multiply rapidly in the right conditions, so if they were lost no indication would be availible. I think that if there was an overabundance of Plankton here that it would drownd out other organisms and hurt the entire ecosystem.

g)It is a problem everywhere just for the fact that there are so many people now we are destroying our natural ecosystems to accomitate everyone. There are other places to build on but soon there will not be anyroom left at all, even though wetlands are a crutial factor in our ecosystem. This is a problem for the rest of the world as it is at Cheasepeak Bay
