An RP where the world as we know it was Nuked. Standard run of the mill Post-Apocolyptic Story. time for a direct quote off the main page of the RP.
The world, in a small panic, nuked the crap out of itself, and to this day nobody knows why....I'll elaborate later...
The majority of society lived in former nuclear missle silos and bunkers that survived the attack. As the radiation levels drop enough to be survivalble, 60 years later, the people in the bunkers begin to ventrue outside their assorted bunkers and make contact with the other clusters of survivors, hence forth known as "Colonies." In the 60 years of contact with each other society has broken down into a 4-caste system;
- The Comrades: The most privledged of the four, they live life as they please, like gods in power.
- Loyal Officers: Equivalent to military officers, they live a good life. Required to be in the military. Failure to serve revokes one's rights as an officer and makes the would-be officer into a citizen.
- Enlisted/Citizen: Joe Schmoe or Pvt. Snuffy level of life. Basically middle class. Enlisted are in the military, Citizens have a token vote in affairs.
- Expendables, a.k.a. XP's: Usually only live to be 30 year old. Considered to be the "scum of society" but are usually the most moral. The meat for the grinder.
After society started to leave the safe zones around their respective colonies, they discovered that cockroaches, expected to survive a nuke war, had evolved into 3 foot long, 2 foot wide, sharp clawed, bone snapping, acid spitting horrors.
Today was to be the arranged truce wedding of Comrade Terra and Comrade Kurt. You were placed on guard duty to make sure the roaches didn't ruin the event,
