They thought they could siphon the role-playing out of LPW. This was the result. Naturally, it kept going in the main thread too...

The Setting

This universe is one of the many in the scape of the war thread, save one difference.

In this universe, the war between Svensylsquatostan and Gal-Zabor was nothing more than a verbal dispute that was resolved within hours.

Mr.Big never appeared.

The Cat-Kin never massed.

On good terms with Svensylsquatostan, Gal-Zabor began exploring the terrain on the opposite side that bordered their land; the wastes of the Great Fall. They explored its nooks and crannies diligently, finding buried treasures, mutants, and magical beings formed from the unstable magic, though nothing to Kraggi's interest, until they stumbled into a small area of land near what were once the Rocky Mountains. Under the protection of one of the last remaining mountains, a small patch of land remained unblemished by the Great Fall's corruptive touch. A large prairie, along with a small Lake and forest, remained vibrant.

The speck of nature in an otherwise unnatural desert, Kraggi deemed the land be named 'the speck of mold on the potato', to which Ann promptly changed the name to 'Mossy Knoll', based off the initials of a figure she knew from a series of pleasant dreams. Kraggi immediately lost interest in it, while Ann saw it as the perfect isolated vacation spot.

The small location was quickly leaked to the public, and soon people sharing Ann's vision started asking to be brought there. Kraggi quickly sent a large group of zombies to construct a town center in the grassy plain so that a small village could be maintained there, and thus, Mossy Knoll was born.

Cast

Public Use NPCs

Locations

Abandoned House

An old, abandoned log cabin. The door looks to be made to compensate for wings, and strange feathers can be found inside.

Ann Pertchin's House

A simple brick ranch style house with a black shingle roof. Yard has no flowers or shrubbery. Interior of house is built to Ann's specifications, and can be found here.

Author Bros Bakery

Don't know how it looks. Know it sells pie though. Mmm... pie. --Anti-paragon 06:06, 12 February 2007 (EST)

Deathmanse

Big spooky house complete with winding driveway, withered, creepy trees, and permanent full moon. A prime example of non-euclidean geometry and discontinuous space, it leaves you wondering just what would happen if you punched a hole in it's trans-dimensional walls. Now with a fresh pine scent!

Freek's House

Freek's house, where Freek and Eshli live. ...and Grim and Atescu bum off of.

HomerNet's House

HomerNet's house. Where HomerNet (permanently stuck in Ranma-chan form) and HelenNet (still pregnant with Squato's child) live.

JJA's Estate and Lab

John's home and lab. Contains a lot of technology and anime characters trapped in their natural environment. JJA has maps. He'll post 'em here. Eventually.

Kraggi's House

A zombified house made completely out of a person. Don't ask how or why, it's Kraggi.

Likal's Burrow

A small unvisited burrow of Likal. Poor Likalhole. Unloved.

Lomgren's House

Map, I'll let Lomgren describe.

Medical Clinic

A small brick walled clinic adorned with a big red cross on the front.

Random Sage's Tower

Big tower, full of Sagedness. Also a number of kitties live there with him.

Redstone Lake

It's a lake, with red stones in it. Also contains Sanchay's Cave and the Tower of VOR.

Sanchay's Cave

Small cave, not so full of Sanchayness.

Sera's Ship

A Gummi ship that recently smooshed itself near the lake. May contain one Sera.

Squato's House

Squato's Property. Resting on an escarpment near the Lake.

The Graveyard

Where dead people go. Or at least their bodies. Unless they're used again. It's kinda disturbing how so many people have died and there's barely any bodies in the grave yard. We can't even blame Vor.
But we do anyway. It's Vor's fault.

The Jail

Should somebody do something horrid (IC or OOC, take your pick), there's a place for them to go. This rather unpleasant place drains those imprisoned within it of all magical, divine, or demonic powers, and bleeds off their life force to keep them complacent. It's a very un-nice place to be.

The Park

For... walky people.

The Rex

The town's hotel/pub/tavern/watering hole. Located in a corner of the Town Square. Owned by Squato, and run by various NPCs.
Take note that Squato doesn't actually play the NPCs, so it's your own responsibility to feed yourself. Consider it self-service by proxy.
Currently, there are no named NPCs working there. However, there is a foxkin, who I shall call "Schalla"
So, I guess that means that there's currently one named NPC working there.

The Town Square

The center of the town. Has lots of shops. I'll update it later, unless someone beats me to it. Map

Underground Silo/Bunker/City

Conveniently located directly below the fountain is an old Soviet missile silo. Below the silo is a large bunker designed to keep quite a number of soldiers alive for two years in the event of a nuclear war. Below the bunker is a small city designed to keep a number of Soviet leaders and their families alive indefinitely.
Unfortunately, the city is infested with something very, very bad, and nobody has gotten around to cleaning it. Complicating the matter is the nature of the infestation; not only does it drain loose energy very quickly causing spells to fizzle, but it acts as a black hole of the dead - anybody who dies within it will be trapped there until retrieved or the effect collapses.

Vor's Tower

A tower in the middle of the lake. I'll let Vor describe it. Because I'm running out of time.
