Name: Joe (noxious Joe / The black Owl / Dark Eye / the hidden Dagger)
Species: Human
Gender: male
Age: 27
Biometrics: Hair: Pitch Black (short); Eyes: Black (unusual large iris)
Build: Hight: 5'11"; Weight: 175 Wiry, long arms with long, slim hands. Straight back.

Appearance: Joe is black, and usually wears Black. Black silken Shirts, Black whool Trousers, Very long, black leather coats with high collar and a black hat with large brim. His face is slim and sharp, his nose makes a small hook. His Eyes are what most people focus at when describing his Face. The irises are large and Black and make the Eyes appeare fixe and staring... smilar to the Eyes of an Owl or Raven. Joe wears a lot of hidden daggers and knifes, straight blades, bend blades, blunt blades with a stabbing tip, large Knifes, smal knifes, knifes which only can be thrown so small are they... All of these knifes have in common the Black hilt and the shiny polished silvery blades, which are well hidden in scabbards until drawn.

Mentality: Joe is a Bramist, and as such does not care for many things... what he cares for is his interpretion of the the Creative Pantheon. He lives by certain rules... e.g. at the end the Hero dies or Leaves town... it is free to interpretion what 'at the end' means. But he often seem to make no sense to his fellow man. He does a lot of things for his own personal self-esteem, satisfaction or amusement. He knows basically three emotional states: Calm, arrogant and desperate Aggression.

Abilities: Mundane: He is a well routined fighter with the knife and a master of Stealth... he is so good, he can hide in most people's plain sigh just by teeter with the wind or staying stiff like a shadow.... as long as he does not move fast. He strikes from behind as soon as the enemy turns his back. Nanitory: Joe harnesses one dark Magic... his blood creates Ghoules: A Few drops of his Blood on a freshly deceased, not all too damaged body can revive it to an unlive under Joe's Comand. It takes around an hour for the Nanites to rework the dead body. The blood works similar on a Living being... A Few drops of Joe's Blood swallowed or dropped on a wound and the being's fate is settled. Three to seven days long it'll inevitably die a painfull and slow death and re-awake as Ghoul. Some people, furthermost those who harnes Healing Magics (like Vampires), but not only those, are resistant to Joe's Blood, and, depending on their Health, the amount of Blood injected/swallowed and the severity of their resistance, the effect might range from non-existent over slight headaches up to a month long incapacitating Illness.

Background: There is nothing Joe ever would tell about his Past and there is hardly anyone left who could instead. Rather obvious is that he allways was more of a shady type.

good questions: What are these ghouls like? - They are undead. A lot like zombies, but less resistant to Damage and not as strongs instead more agile. Alot of the trained relfexes of the Former person is kept intact, so a Martial artist who turns into a Ghoul is a more skilled fighter than e.g. a gardener... but not as skilled as he was when he was alive. So it is important to have good Material handy in order to make good Ghouls.

How many can he control at once? - The amount of passive Ghouls is not really limited. The amount of Ghouls who he can actively control ranges from one (Complex orders) to ten (very simple oders), If he tries to controll more Ghouls than that, his servants will end up in confused mayhem.

can they follow orders or do they rely on him for every last action? - They follow his (and only his) orders they must hear from his mouth. It should be next to impossible to imposter his Voice, and if muffled he cannot give orders. Their abilities to follow orders are only a little bit better than that of a well trained Dog... depending on the former Person's intelligence (representing a well build nervous system)

How long do they last? - Even though the Nanites try their best to keep the body funtional, it will rot and decay allmost like an ordinary body, and once the muscles and sinews are gone, the ghouls are unuseable. Depending on wether and usage: one to three days. But there are ways to preserve Corpses. Cold lakes in caverns, Snowy Mountains... allmost all of these methods however require the Ghouls to be inactive.
