'''Last Post Wins''' is a thread on Mayhem where a lot of loose RP takes place, and a lot of lead-taking occurred in the past. It is one of the older threads, and is also currently the longest on all of KeenSpot by far.

It has a younger sibling (read: 'evil twin') in [[Last Post Loses!!!!!!]], though it is not quite so sinister as that.

==LPW's Beginnings and a Short History==
Last Post Wins was originally a thread devoted to getting the last post, and thus becoming the winner of the thread. This slowly changed as time passed. A "lead" was introduced, and everyone started trying to get the lead in some fashion. By page 500 or so, loose RPing was interspersed with and also containing lead-taking, and many ways of saying the last poster didn't really have the lead had been invented. False leads, holographic leads, teleporting the lead, finding the lead on the ground where the last poster had dropped it, things like that.

By page 1000, lead-taking had become very rare, and the loose RP had pretty much settled in, with parties, plots, and characters.

At this point in time, only old posters who drop in every once in a while and (most) newbies seem to take the lead, as everyone else is caught up in the loose RPing.

A date of note would be the 18 of April 2007 when LPW broke, the winner was [[OzLionHeart]].

==A Short Summary of the Current LPW==
OK, we've got a Pavilion, a Hotel, [[Tasteful Curtain|Curtains]] flying left and right, shrunken Lommies, evil Chibis, Gods, Goddesses, whole Pantheons, Epic-Level characters, cross-thread plots, people who've come, left, returned, left again, gone up the creek without a paddle, and turned 'round for nowhere, and a [[Lead]] that may or may not exist.

And that's not even scratching the surface. Oh, and it's called LPW!!! by everyone who's... erm... everyone... yeah. We all call it that. NYEH!

...And I'm going to give LPW!!! a duck, just for being LPW!!!

'''Last Post Wins''' is a thread on Mayhem where a lot of loose RP takes place, and a lot of lead-taking occurred in the past. It is one of the older threads, and is also currently the longest on all of KeenSpot by far.

It has a younger sibling (read: 'evil twin') in [[Last Post Loses!!!!!!]], though it is not quite so sinister as that.

==LPW's Beginnings and a Short History==
Last Post Wins was originally a thread devoted to getting the last post, and thus becoming the winner of the thread. This slowly changed as time passed. A "lead" was introduced, and everyone started trying to get the lead in some fashion. By page 500 or so, loose RPing was interspersed with and also containing lead-taking, and many ways of saying the last poster didn't really have the lead had been invented. False leads, holographic leads, teleporting the lead, finding the lead on the ground where the last poster had dropped it, things like that.

By page 1000, lead-taking had become very rare, and the loose RP had pretty much settled in, with parties, plots, and characters.

At this point in time, only old posters who drop in every once in a while and (most) newbies seem to take the lead, as everyone else is caught up in the loose RPing.

A date of note would be the 18 of April 2007 when LPW broke, the winner was [[OzLionHeart]].

'''Last Post Wins''' is a thread on Mayhem where a lot of loose RP takes place, and a lot of lead-taking occurred in the past. It is one of the older threads, and is also currently the longest on all of KeenSpot by far.

It has a younger sibling (read: 'evil twin') in [[Last Post Loses!!!!!!]], though it is not quite so sinister as that.

==LPW's Beginnings and a Short History==
Last Post Wins was originally a thread devoted to getting the last post, and thus becoming the winner of the thread. This slowly changed as time passed. A "lead" was introduced, and everyone started trying to get the lead in some fashion. By page 500 or so, loose RPing was interspersed with and also containing lead-taking, and many ways of saying the last poster didn't really have the lead had been invented. False leads, holographic leads, teleporting the lead, finding the lead on the ground where the last poster had dropped it, things like that.

By page 1000, lead-taking had become very rare, and the loose RP had pretty much settled in, with parties, plots, and characters.

At this point in time, only old posters who drop in every once in a while and (most) newbies seem to take the lead, as everyone else is caught up in the loose RPing.

A date of note would be the 18 of April 2007 when LPW broke, the winner was [[OzLionHeart]].

Current known belongings: Red shirt and jeans (in both regular and Lommy size, thanks to [[KF-Oz]]), and a mood ring, which he wears at all times, and can shrink down with him. He also wears a dewrag that he obtained from his 'father', which has broken the curse on him, and at the same time giving him new abilities. The dewrag has also obtained the power from the mood ring, as the mood ring started to hurt Natalie at one point.

'''Last Post Wins''' is a thread on Mayhem where a lot of loose RP takes place, and a lot of lead-taking occurred in the past. It is one of the older threads, and is also currently the longest on all of KeenSpot by far.

It has a younger sibling (read: 'evil twin') in [[Last Post Loses!!!!!!]], though it is not quite so sinister as that.

==LPW's Beginnings and a Short History==
Last Post Wins was originally a thread devoted to getting the last post, and thus becoming the winner of the thread. This slowly changed as time passed. A "lead" was introduced, and everyone started trying to get the lead in some fashion. By page 500 or so, loose RPing was interspersed with and also containing lead-taking, and many ways of saying the last poster didn't really have the lead had been invented. False leads, holographic leads, teleporting the lead, finding the lead on the ground where the last poster had dropped it, things like that.

By page 1000, lead-taking had become very rare, and the loose RP had pretty much settled in, with parties, plots, and characters.

At this point in time, only old posters who drop in every once in a while and (most) newbies seem to take the lead, as everyone else is caught up in the loose RPing.

A date of note would be the 18 of April 2007 when LPW broke, the winner was [[OzLionHeart]].

==IC Character History==
Admiral Redstone started out as a relatively unknown mercenary before the Crossover Wars. With the rapid militarization during the 'Wars, Redstone was catapulted to a high rank at a very young age, being appointed official Liaison to the Terran fleet at the age of 26, and making Fleet Admiral months later. Early in his career, Redstone kept to his mercenary roots, donning powered armor and leading from the front. However, after his death aboard the Oriskany and subsequent RESPAWN, Redstone has taken his position as Admiral more seriously, staying in a command position and building the Navy up to where external aid is no longer required. During the current police action against the MPLF and other subversive elements within Mayhem, Admiral Redstone has taken a more direct approach than other members of the DF, meeting force with force in order to maintain order. Most recently, Redstone and most of the Navy have been away from Mayhem for reasons unknown, only returning after the destruction of the Fort. At present, he is in command of the 94-ship Reclamation Force, a rebellious faction of the EGS-DF seeking to overthrow the 'corrupt leadership' of the DF, and is opposed by the 36-ship Loyalist Fleet, the 50-ship [[Battle Group Indigo]] of the [[GUDF Navy]], and the rest of the EGS-DF.
===A Note on the Name===
Fleet Admiral Redstone was originally Fleet Admiral [[Jstone]], since he started out as a blatant self-insert. However, the Admiral has grown into a character in his own right and [[Jstone]], upon his return to Mayhem, decided to rename him. This renaming is a complete retcon, and as such applies all the way back to Invasion Alert. Just imagine that the name is different in all those posts and comics.

ONI appears capable of operation in a variety of mission types, including aerial imaging, signals analysis, and direct human intelligence, among other channels of information. It is believed that ONI is also tasked with performing psychological operations in support of Navy goals, but this has not yet been confirmed.

It comes equipped with a miniature fusion reactor that powers the suit. The reactor rarely needs to be refueled, and there is little danger of radiation poisoning.

The X-42's features include a built-in energy shield capable of resisting TF beams and bullets. The shield is vulnerable to plasma-based weaponry, however.

Distinguishing features that set it apart from the MK VI MJOLNIR include a built-in jetpack allowing MDM to reach hard-to-access locations, a stalk scanner that allows MDM to see infrared and X-ray wavelengths, a taser-like device built into the left forearm, and a holster for a TF gun attached to the right hip.

The X-42 increases the user's strength by 175%, allowing the wearer to easily push aside heavy obstacles.

The X-42 is easily comparable to the M27 APS used by the [[EGSDF Force Recon]]. The M27 is a foot taller, but the X-42's armor plating is much more durable and the energy shield gives the X-42's wearer an added bonus.

The X-42 weighs 1,200 pounds.

A heavy assault variant of the X-42 Variant Alpha armor exists, and is referred to as the Devastator variant. The hallmarks of the Devastator variant include thicker (up to three inches of titanium-tungsten) armor and teleporter packs to get Devastator-armored Titan Legionaries wherever they are needed on the battlefield.

==Back Story==
The world is unchanged from how it is right now. the technology has gone forward and gotten streamlined somewhat, but we are still dealing with essentially the exact same problems. Like, you know terrorists and such. One such group, called Phalanx, activated a large weapons platform network five and a half years ago. It was apparently destroyed by someone calling themself Cipher.

He was an Archetype, an advanced android with a full decision making capability. there are now three series of Archetypes- Genesis, Legacy and Destiny.

Destiny is the newest kind of Archetype, and possibly the last generation. Where the first two were secret ventures, the Destiny class was developed to be mass produced on a world market. It was devided into three sub categories, called models: Military, Industrial, and General Purpose.

However, the Regency Corporation isn't completely aboveboard in it's operations, and many illegal things happen in there.

We are all just being activated in the Regency Corporation, and are beginning to find out very shortly that it's not such a nice place to live.

==Character classes==
Your characters can be Human or Destiny Class Archetypes. A human is a standard human. an Archetype is above a human, in terms of punishment they can take and such, but they can't heal unless they manually repair themselves.

General Purpose- Most numerous produced, weakest in terms of everything else. Special Ability: Upgrade slots that allow different pieces of gear to be utilized, although originally weaponless, they have modified some systems to allow some defensive capability if necesary.

Industrial- Think Guts Man. Construction and massproduction jobs. Strong, but can take longer to repair damage.

Military- This was designed for armies to buy and stock up. These were the most expensive to produce, are the fewest in number, and have the more superhuman abilities in their possession.

After a long and arduous journey, along which MDM discovered he had a Giant Closet filled with evil animated sentient torture devices as well as a horde of other inventions, they reached their destination: the breeding grounds of the fearsome, ferociously terrifying PLATYPUS-NARWHAL HYBRIDS!

Alas, the glory days of Mayhem were not to last. For several years, bunnies had gambolled, frolicked, and had endless fun in Mayhem.

On January 26th, 2009, Lord Shive announced that EGS was moving from [[Keenspot]] to be hosted elsewhere. New forums were established at the 910 Forums, which left Mayhem's future in dire straits. A mass of bunnies fled Keenspot in the wake of the announcement.

As of January 29th, 2009, Mayhem is to remain open, with [[Anti-Paragon]] and [[TingYi]] appointed as moderators, and the removal of "EGS" from its title. This has actually gone more smoothly than many bunnies feared.

Mayhem is still Mayhem. Many bunnies have chosen to be active in both forums, others have chosen to remain exclusively members of Mayhem.

There is currently (as of February 2009) some debate in progress as to what the people of Mayhem should now call themselves; the current favourite seems to be "Mayhemites".

Update April 2009: "Mayhemites" appears to be the official term adopted by the People of Mayhem.

This particular series is a common favourite among Mayhem, mainly because of the often forgotten promises of [[Corset Parties|corset parties]] that should be featured, yet never are.
